Daniel: Daniel got out his sweats and changed quickly, leaving the hoodie in the room but wearing his gray sweatpants and the red school t-shirt. He quickly put on his tennis shoes and returned to his classmates.

Max: Max changed from her uniform to her sweats. She put her running shoes on and threw on her hoodie as she left the room. She went out to the other students. Not knowing why they were standing there, Max went past them and opened the door into the gym and started to go out.

Professor Collins: Professor Collins grabbed Max by her shoulder and yanked her back as a laser seemed to come from no where and hit the ground where Max was standing. "Zephyr, turn off everything except the lights." The computer configurated, and there were clanking sounds and then it all went quiet. "And that, my students, is why you don't go into the gym without my permission."

Nate: Nate jumped at the sight of the laser. "Oh my gosh! Wow! Woah!" Nate wasn't sure what had just happened, but it had been cool. Well, not so cool for Max, who had almost been split in half. Whatever happened, it made him much more exited for gym class.

Margo: Margo had just stepped out of her dressing room when she saw it all happen. It seemed like something that would happen in spy movies, not at a high school. She again began to question weather or not they would be safe here.

Jack: Jack walked out of his dressing room in his uniform and joined everyone else seeing the laser. His eyes went wide and said shocked,"What the heck was that?"

Alex: Alex walked out dressed in her gym uniform and skipped out to the group just seeing the laser almost get Max. "Holy apple pie!" She ignored Jack chuckling at her choice of words and waited for someone to say something.

Margo: Margo's heart was pumping, and her face felt flushed. She turned to Professor Collins, waiting for an explanation.

Nate: "Holy apple pie?" Nate burst into a laugh, which seemed really out of place in the frightened atmosphere of the room, but he couldn't help it. He had never heard anyone say anything like that before. Besides, he was terrible at suppressing laughs, which often got him in trouble.

River: River was too afraid to notice anything or anyone else around her, that is until she felt Daniels arm around her, she didn't care what anyone thought, she pulled herself tighter into him until the side of her face was on his chest.

Max: Max stared straight in front of her. What had just happened?

Daniel: Daniel warappeed his other arm around River, held her tight, and murmured, "It's going to be all right."

Professor Collins: Professor Collins looked awkwardly at her students. "Um.....that's the gym. Yes, I have weaponry in there. That weaponry is completely controlled by the computer, so no one but I can access it. Basically, what the weapons are there for, is to help you guys. I know it sounds scary, but hear me out. Basically, this isn't really P.E. P.E. is a completely different class. This here is Power/Combat class. This class is centered on two things. One, to help you learn to use your powers, aand two, to help you learn how to use your powers to defend yourself. Most of my students have gone on to be super heroes. Some don't, but most do. And even if you don't, everyone should know how to defend themselves. So, in more advanced courses, when my students have control over their abilities, I teach them to defend themselves, using the weapons as their enemies. But we won't be using them today, just practice dummies." She got on the computer and after a minute or two there were practice dummies sdpread around the room.

Alex: Alex bit her lip to keep from laughing with him, she didn't think it was the time to be laughing even if she wanted."Yes holy apple pie, I say things like that a lot."

Margo: Professor Collin's words helped to soothe Margo's nerves. Collins always seemed so in control of things. But one thing she said bothered Margo. When she said that some don't go on to be super heroes, did she mean they just led normal lives? Or did they become super villans?

Nate: For once, Nate felt like he was going to have no trouble paying attention in a class. This was like a dream course, teaching him how to use his powers and become a super hero. Despite his failure last time, Nate couldn't wait to try again.

River: River was still terrified, but with Daniel's arms wrapped around, and his voice speaking calmly to her she started to feel a lot better, she began breathing normally again and was able to listen to what professor Collins was saying.

Jack: Jack looked at his professor actually impressed, maybe it wouldn't be so boring here. He smiles at the practice dummies suddenly excited for this class.

Alex: Alex listened shocked but impressed. "We aren't just climbing a rope or playing basketball? We're actually learning to protect ourselves?" She thought to herself. "So, people really can become Superheroes? That is so cool!"

Alex: Alex bit her lip to keep from laughing with him, she didn't think it was the time to be laughing even if she wanted."Yes holy apple pie, I say things like that a lot."

Nate: Nate smiled at her, "That's great. I love it. Wouldn't the world be better if everyone said stuff like that instead of swear words?" Nate couldn't believe he had just said that aloud. Sometimes he thought of random, deeper stuff like that but he barely ever said it aloud.

Alex: Alex smiled back and nodded agreeing,"Absolutely! That's why I say things like that, in all of the homes I've lived in I've heard far too many swear words so I say things similar to that so I tried to teach other kids to use nicer phrases." She continued to smile even though she realized she basically just told him half of her past but she hoped he didn't notice.

River: River was still terrified, but with Daniel's arms wrapped around, and his voice speaking calmly to her she started to feel a lot better, she began breathing normally again and was able to listen to what professor Collins was saying.

Daniel: Daniel listened to the professor, but still held River close. In a way, he wanted to protect her, and anyway, he liked hugging her. It felt right, like holding her hand.

Professor Collins: "Yup, some of my graduates have gone on to become heroes. Let's see, who would you know..........Superman, Ms. Marvel, both of them graduated from my school, as did Wasp and The Flash, to name a few."

OOC: Used a mix of Marvel and DC characters.

Professor Collins: The professor smiled and said, "I do prefer "holy apple pie" to cuss words."

Jack: Jack looked at the professor shocked but continued to stay silent not wanting to look like a crazy man shouting and jumping aorund or anything weird like that.

Alex: Alex looked at her shocked but said loudly,"Superman and The Flash came to this school?! The same school I'm in? I think I'm going to pass out." She looked around hoping she wasn't the only one freaking out but honestly didn't care if they all thought she was weird, amazing superheroes went to her school!

River looked up and whispered "Daniel" getting his attention "thank you for always being there."

Margo: Margo had never really paid attention to the news, but she had heard of Superman. It was pretty amazing. "Wow. Just wow. I can't believe this. Superman has been in this room. Do you think you can get him to guest speak or something?" Margo laughed, knowing these hero's all lead way to busy lives to talk to some kids.

Nate: As Collins listed the superhero's Nate's jaw opened wider and wider. "They all went here? I had no idea!" Nate suddenly lost all bitterness he still had towards his mom for sending him here. This has got to be the coolest school ever.

OOC: I would use one of your characters for the demonstration, but it's just more convenient for me to use Max.

Professor Collins: "So today, what you're going to do is I'm assigning you two practice dummies. The dummies will be assigned your file, so they can't be set on anyone else. What you'll have to do is out run, outsmart or outfight your dummies into defeating them, using your abilities. Once you defeat one, it'll fall down for ten seconds, then pop back up again. Once you defeat a dummy three times. they'll go down and stay down. There will be a 0, 1, 2 or 3 on the head of each dummy for how many times you've knocked them out. So......" Professor Collins' gaze swept around the room, deciding who she would use as an example. "Max, I'll use you as an example. Come here please."

Max: Max went over to Professor Collins, not knowing what to expect.

Professor Collins: Professor Collins took Max's hand and led her out into the gym to a pair of dummies. When she spoke, the students found they could here her just as clearly. "Now, Maxine here has the ability to shapeshift, or to change her whole appearance to look like someone else. She can even copy their voice. So, Max, if you could demonstrate for us."

Max: Max sighed, one of her secrets was already blown. Max willed herself to change forms, she grew in height and aged until she was a complete copy of Professor Collins. "She can even copy their voice," Max repeated, her voice for the most part sounding exactly like Professor Collins', but occasionally dipping back into Max's voice.

Professor Collins: "See? But that is simple. Now, what if Max, say, was in trouble, being chased, and so had to change into a loved one of whoever was chasing her? But then, she couldn't be that person because that person was an enemy of the person in front of her? Max would have to do very quick, very accurate changing. Let's try it." A few seconds later, and the dummies began projecting images of people at a very fast rate.

Max: Max instantly recognized the challenge and tried to copy as many people as she could. As she went on though, the picture reel went faster, so Max would be halfway finished portraying one person before she had to switch to the next.

Professor Collins: The professor let it go on for a few more moments before saying, "Right, Zephyr, that's enough." Instantly, the dummies stopped flashiong images and turned off completely. As Max turned back into herself, Professor Collins led her back into the room with the rest of the students. "Right. Now, I'll be walking around the room if you need help. Any questions?"

Jack: Jack looked at the professor shocked but continued to stay silent not wanting to look like a crazy man shouting and jumping aorund or anything weird like that.

She looked around hoping she wasn't the only one freaking out but honestly didn't care if they all thought she was weird, amazing superheroes went to her school!

Professor Collins: The professor smiled. "Yes ma'am. I've ran this school for several years, and taught more than those two, but yeas, they are two of my more famous students."

River: River looked around at everyone else in the room, they all stood in their own, and yet Daniel and herself were completely linked together, yet, she didn't care, for the first time she didn't care about being different. River looked up and whispered "Daniel" getting his attention "thank you for always being there."

Daniel: Upon hearing his name, he looked down at River. After listening to her, he smiled warmly. "It's what I'm here for," he whispered back. "You ever need me, don't hesitate to tell me." Daniel would be there for River and his friends. Always.

Margo: Margo had never really paid attention to the news, but she had heard of Superman. It was pretty amazing. "Wow. Just wow. I can't believe this. Superman has been in this room. Professor Collins: Professor Collins smiled. "My students love to visit me, even the very busy ones. And I usually try to have a guest speaker at least once a year. Some of my students even volunteer. I check my email every evening, so I see who's interested and arrange a good day. So, we'll see who comes out this year. On guest speaker days, usually they talk in the morning, then we break for lunch, and then they come down here and give people pointers."

Professor Collins: "Well, let's think about this. Your power is manipluating the elements. So, think about water. Why don't you take your kareoke machine into the tub with you when you take a bath? Think about earth. Rock beats scissors. You could make it like a giant game of rock, paper, scissors. Think about fire. What does fire do to things? Think about air. What wind storm do you know of that ravages towns and cities in the Midwest and South? Think about it." Professor Collins gave her hints but didn't spell it out for Alex, hoping she would come to the conclusions, and therefore solutions, Professor Collins wanted her to realize.

Ooc: That terrible time when your WiFi goes out and you have to type from your phone. -_-
