Nate: The adrenaline rush had taken Nate's breath away, and he gasped for air as he treaded water. "Awesome!" He managed to get out between breath.

Max: Max hit the water and soon was completely under. To be embraced with water like that.....it was both a novelty and a moment of nostalgia. Then she came up for breath, and saw only black. Her hair, now soaked flat, hung like a curtain all around her head and in fromt of her face. She laughed at herself, dipped her head back, and with both hands brushed her hair back from her face. She came back up right, her hair completely removed from her face, and it was the first time her whole face was shown to the others. It was an average face at full sight, except for the medium-long scar on her left cheek. It appeared to be old, but it was still reddish-pink and plain on her face. Max grinned, unaware of the fact that everyone could see her scar, and she laughed. "Let's do that again!" she shouted. Max looked alive, her eyes were sparkling too.

Alex: Alex laughed letting her head fall back and grinned at the two,"I knew you would love it! There's a shore over there that will lead us back to the cliff. Round two?" She started her way to the small shore slowly waiting for the two noticing Max's scar but didn't make a big deal about it, she was curious but didn't really need to know.

Max: Max nodded enthusiastically. "Let's go!" She then glanced at Nate ever so slightly and said, "Guess you're more daring than I previously thought." It was not an apology, or even an admittance of being wrong, simply a statement.

Nate: Nate's grinned. "Don't decide anything about a person, because they'll never fail to surprise you. My dad says that all the time." He glanced at Max. "Cool scar. How'd you get it?" Nate asked in his careless way.

Max: Well, Nate's father certainly knew a thing or two about people. Max wondered at the irony of this statement, that Max always tried to be an enigma, constantly changing to throw everyone off. Max blinked, confused. She brought her hand up to her face and touched it exactly in the middle, as if she'd done so before. "Oh, that?" she asked casually. "I fell out of a window on the second floor of a building. The glass and the pavement got me."

Alex: Alex made her way towards shore and grimaced at Nate, why couldn't he let that slide? She didn't want Max to get angry or uncomfortable so she left it alone. But Nate didn't seem to be prying, he just asked a simple question. Alex continued to swim hoping nothing would really happen.

Nate: "Ouch." Nate liked scars, they usually had interesting stories behind them. And even more importantly, a story that you survived. He ran his finger proudly over his own, then said, "Let's go," and began to swim towards the place Alex had said.

Max: "You're the one slowing us down, asking me all these questions!" She said, swimming forward. But if he looked at her, Nate would see a large grin on Max's face, and a teasing look about her. Max hadn't really lied about her scar. She just left out most of the important bits of where it really came from.

OOC: Night!

Alex: Alex sighed in relief and made her way onto the shore smiling. Another jump or two would be incredible, then we could make our way back to the beach for a while, go to parents night and end the day on a good note. She started her way to the cliff again before stopping and waiting for Nate and Max with a smile.

Nate: "Sorry to be such a burden to the team by asking questions!" Nate joked. He caught up to Alex, saying "What I said earlier about people surprising you, that definitely applies to you. Cliff diving! I would have never expected it. Any other extreme sports you could show us? Oops, here I go asking questions again. We'll never reach the cliff." It wasn't much of an understatement, as Nate couldn't go three seconds without talking.

Alex: Alex laughed and Nate as they walked and thought for a moment with a smile,"Um, have you ever gone to a demolition derby?" She looked at him with a questioning look wondering if that was as extreme as Cliff diving. 'Probably not,' She thought to herself.

Ooc: Night Wings!

Nate: "Nope." Nate thought about demolition derbys for a second, then said, "I think I'd rather stick to cliff diving. Being run over by a monster truck doesn't sound fun. Have you tried surfing? That's pretty fun. The only other one I've done is white water river rafting, which was great, too. "

OOC: I'm gonna go to bed, too. Night

Alex: Alex grinned but shook her head,"I'll give you that, but if you're the once crushing it's a lot more fun. At least that's what the driver's say." She tilted her head to the side slightly and shrugged," I've never actually surfed before, is it easy? Does it hurt?"

Nate: "It's really hard to get started, but once you know how, it's not hard, just tiring. It depends on the wave you fall in if it hurts." Nate thought about a way to describe it. "I'd imagine it's like jumping off the cliff when a waves coming, minus crashing into the rock. You just kinda get tumbled and ripped around, but it's only water, so nothing really dangerous. On the rare occasion, the board will hit you, and that hurts like crazy."

Serefima: Serefima sighed. "Only water? Nothing dangerous? I gotta say, jumping off a cliff seems dangerous to me," she said, her red eyes flashing. She fought the urge to let her hands flame up; she didn't want to pass out again.

Nate: At first Nate wondered who this random person was, then realized there was a few new students he hadn't met yet. "I was talking about surfing, not cliff diving. I don't question for a second that cliff diving is dangerous." Nate wondered how he had managed to make someone he didn't know so mad. "I guess water can be dangerous, but if you know how to swim and are careful, it's not so bad. And by the way, I'm Nate."

Amelia: Amelia sat on the beach, alone once again. She watched as some of the other students jumped off of the cliff. Amelia didn't think she could ever do something like that, but it was interesting to watch others do it. She imagined what it would be like, the feeling of falling, the impact of the water.
Maybe it would be fun to try, she thought, but she quickly put off the idea. Amelia wasn't the type of person to just go out of her comfort zone. It would take a lot to get her to something like cliff diving.
But inisde, she really did have an adventurous side. She just told herself that she didn't. She just hid things like adventurousness, emotions, and pretty much everything else about her deep down inside. She had been doing it for so long now, though, that she didn't even realize she was doing it anymore.

Serefima: Serefima calmed herself down. "Sorry," she said. "I have a back temper. I'm Serefima Kasai, Nate." She brushed her orange hair out pf her face, feelig embarrassed that she had lost control so easily. /I must be much more careful to keep my temper./

Alex: Alex sighed and walked up to the top of the cliff once again, looking down at the calm water below. She was relieved that waves weren't too rough here but knew if there were a storm or it got very windy the waves would be killer. Backing up a couple feet, Alex looked back to the beach where everyone else was and saw Jack making his way to the cliff. And if she were right he didn't look very happy. Sighing, Alex looked back at the water and smiled. 'One more jump,' She thought to herself before taking a deep breath and running off the cliff, taking the diving position.

Jack: Jack made his way to the cliff hoping to stop Alex from jumping off the cliff and anyone else she manage to fool to do it. Watching the cliff he saw Alex turn her head before diving off the cliff making him stop in his tracks. "She's dead," He said to himself before stopping and standing near the cliff waiting for her to get out of the water.

Toby: Toby sat on the beach and watched as Max, Alex, and Nate climbed the cliff and jumped. He felt as though his heart stopped each time they threw themselves off, but he didn't see it as his place to try and stop them. He watched as they climbed again and his eyes followed Jack as he walked to the cliff. Toby felt angry as Jack stood arms crossed waiting for Alex. But he wasn't sure why, he thought maybe it was because that made it look like he didn't care as much as Jack. He stood up and jogged over to where Jack stood "she's allowed to do what she wants, it's not your job to protect her" he said trying to sound casual.

Jack: Jack turned to briefly look at Toby then back to Alex. "She could get hurt. This is dangerous, she could drown or hit her head or hurt herself in any other way. And I'm not protecting her. I'm simply... watching out for her," He said watching Alex dip under the water and slightly getting on his toes as if that would help him see her.
