Alex: Alex grinned and nodded her head excitedly,"I know right? Especially if it's Jamaican! I loved the little songs he would sing, and the ones Ariel sang!" She continued to grin as she started to hum a song from the movie.

Toby: Toby smiled, "me too, I used to watch that movie all the time with my sister when we were little."

Alex: "I got to watch it a couple times, that's the beauty of living with little kids, you watch every single Disney movie created. It's a good thing I like Disney too because if not I would have gone crazy watching all of the characters singing and dancing," Alex said smiling remembering watching the movies with the very young children in the different orphanages.

Toby: "It really will be!" he said thinking about it and hoping his parents would be okay with it, but he wasn't sure what his reasoning would be for why Alex should stay with them, and why her parents were okay with it if he couldn't tell them the truth.

Alex: Alex smiled shyly and looked down at the sand under the water,"This probably sounds really bad but I already have the story I'll tell your parents figured out. Not just for if I can stay for the summer but if they ask at all, I've used this story a lot in the past so I should be more convincing with telling it."

Alex: "Well, I'm going to say I move around a lot and the people I'm staying with are trying to find a new home that's close to their busy jobs so I was supposed to go to another person's house," Alex said shrugging lightly. "It is a lie but I just figured it's better than coming up with a huge elaborate scheme. When people asked I would say my parents have really busy jobs that make them move around a lot so I don't get to see them a lot."

Alex: "Well, I'm going to say I move around a lot and the people I'm staying with are trying to find a new home that's close to their busy jobs so I was supposed to go to another person's house," Alex said shrugging lightly. "It is a lie but I just figured it's better than coming up with a huge elaborate scheme. When people asked I would say my parents have really busy jobs that make them move around a lot so I don't get to see them a lot."

Toby: Toby shrugged and smiled slightly. "okay, then that's what I'll tell them too."

Alex: Alex smiled a little and let water droplets fall back into the water. She felt guilty for making Toby lie to his parents about her but hopefully she would be able to tell them the truth later on.

Alex: Alex laughed slightly and dipped down further into the water. "Same here. If not we could always just call, e-mail, I could even catch a bus down to your town and visit you for a little," She said trying not to get her hopes up.

Max: Max stood around, not knowing what to do. Did she stay alone, or retry hanging out with the others? This socializing thing was complicated. Maybe she truly was better off alone. She always knew she was better off alone in the boyfriend sense, but maybe that applied with regular people too. She'd always partly suspected so.

Alex: Alex sighed and walked up to shore, rinsing out her wet hair in the process. Looking around, she noticed the cliffs and smiled to herself inspecting them. 'You could get a great jump off of those,' She thought to herself.

Max: Max glanced at Professor Collins, then walked casually over to Alex. She stood stock still, but her eyes moved to make sure no one was listening, and she bit her lip. Then, deciding the coast was clear, she put up a mental shield and whispered, "The professor's sleeping. It ight be a good time to do that cliff diving when she isn't awake." Max wasn't out right asking, but the message was implied. She doubted the professor would find cliff diving safe.

It was Max's business and Alex didn't want to intrude so she simply asked,"You excited?"
