Alex: Alex pushed aside a medium sized rock with slight trouble before grinning triumphantly, turning back to look at Max. Noticing her looking so...natural with sneaking around she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and opened her mouth to ask why but stopped herself. It was Max's business and Alex didn't want to intrude so she simply asked,"You excited?"

Max: Max smiled. It was a real smile from her, at least, Max believed it was. Which was odd, considering it was Max. "Yeah, should be fun! I'm a little bit of a daredevil." There it was, another little piece of herself that Max had shown. Get it together Maxine!

Nate: Coming in from surfing, Nate looked up to see some people he couldn't make out heading towards the cliffs. He asked the group at the beach where they were going.

Margo: "To the cliff, to jump off or something." The idea didn't particularly intrest Margo, since she could fly.

Nate: Not wanting to miss off on something so awesome, Nate jogged after the others.

Max: Max smiled. It was a real smile from her, at least, Max believed it was. Which was odd, considering it was Max. "Yeah, should be fun! I'm a little bit of a daredevil." There it was, another little piece of herself that Max had shown. Get it together Maxine!

Alex: Alex smiled wider, honestly a bit surprised at Max's behavior, but tried not to let it show too much. "I've kind of noticed. Normally people are afraid to go cliff jumping, they think it's an idiotic thing. But it's actually really fun! You'll love it." She started walking towards the top of the cliff again, this time not too far away.

OOC: So I once again changed my mine about Nate's powers, so here's something that happened over the weeks we skipped.

Nate continued to feel off about his powers, so he experimented during class and talked to Collins. He eventually discovered that if he focused really hard, he could actually turn into an animal (instead of just taking on their skills, from now on I'm just going to act like this isn't a part of his power). But, since focus isn't Nate's strong suit, it has been difficult.

Is this change ok with everyone?

Max: Max followed Alex. "Other than watch out for rocks, what advice would you give a beginner?"

Nate: Reaching Alex and Max, Nate smiled. "So, your jumping off cliffs and you didn't think to invite me?" Nate liked to think of himself as an adventure seeker and act like this was easy, but he was actually really nervous inside.

OOC: Yup.

Everyone is free to tinker with their characters' powers.

Max: Max raised an eyebrow, the smile disappearing from her face. Keep these people out, keep everyone out, her mind pressed. "Well, we weren't sure if you were daring enough." Good, a challenge. That would keep her unliked. She'd rather be unliked than in danger.

Max: Max followed Alex. "Other than watch out for rocks, what advice would you give a beginner?"

Ooc: I don't see anything wrong with it.

Alex: Alex thought for a moment before coming up with the basics. "Keep your hands straight at your sides and legs closed tight together if you're going down feet first, it's safer and lets you slip into the water much easier. If you're going head first you want to be in the diving position for the same reasons. Take a deep breath before you go, and even though you're going to want to, do not let out that breath when you're submerge in the water. Don't worry though, I'll go after you and help if you need it."

Alex: Alex turned and smiled at Nate before turning to Max, chuckling at the challenge not seeing it as a way to be unliked. Quickly she added,"Oh and make sure you don't see a wave coming towards the cliff as you jump. It'll hit you as you come up and hurt you."

Max: Max nodded. "I know the diving position, last school I was on the swim team." Waving her fingers, Max took the position. A few secoinds later, she took a breath and threw herself in a dive head first off the cliff.

Max: "Got it!" Max yelled. It was too late, she was already off the cliff, but there didn't seem to be a wave.

Nate: Nate glared at her shocked at first, It was like she knew what he was thinking. But then, he laughed it off. "Don't worry, I'm daring enough." He smiled cockily, watched as Max jumped off, said, "I got this," to Alex's comment, then took a deep breath, still nervous but wouldn't show it, and threw himself off.

Max: Max's curly black hair was being blown straight out behind her. She loved the feeling of falling, there was a peaceful quality to it, and oh, the way the wind blew through her hair! Max did not regret asking Alex to show her this. This was truly amazing. Yes, if the worst had to happen, this was how she'd do it.

Alex: Alex laughed at the both of them, this school was full of surprising people. Back home, only the bravest guys jumped off cliffs. And even then most of the cliffs weren't as high as this one. Looking back at the shore one last time, Alex prepared to jump.

Jack: Jack looked around bored and noticed something on the cliff on the edge. He squinted his eyes to get a better look and noticed the very blonde hair, recognizing Alex immediately and his heart started to hammer in his chest and his hands got a nervous sweat. "Don't you dare," He muttered to himself watching Alex.

Alex: Alex took a deep breath before stepping back about seven feet and taking a running start off the cliff. As she fell she straightened out her body and waited for the impact of the water.

Nate: As soon as he was in the air, panic took over Nate. He released a yelp of terror, but then disguised it as a shout. His legs flipped over his dive, and he found himself somersaulting in the air. He managed to straighten himself out before submerging in the water. He bobbed out, flipping his hair, which was starting to grow from the buzz he liked, and shouted. Now that it was over, Nate discovered that it had given him a great adrenaline rush, and all he wanted now was to do it again. He loved the thrill, even though it scared him.

Alex: Alex closed her eyes as she saw the water getting closer and made sure her body was in the right before she felt the water surround her. The feeling of the water was as if a million hot needles were pinned all around her body, unlike the feeling of cold ones back in Washington, but oddly enough the feeling was a sort of numbing pain. She opened her eyes and looked to the surface seeing nothing coming towards the cliff and swam to the surface with adrenaline pumping in her veins. Breaking the surface, Alex gasped and grinned as she tried to stay afloat and wait for the others to come up. She chuckled at Nate as he came up and asked happily,"What do you think?"

Jack: Jack watched in horror as Alex fell in the water and instantly jumped to his feet. 'What is she thinking? Is something wrong with her? She's ridiculous!' He thought frantically to himself watching the water and barely seeing her head pop above the water. 'She's dead.'

Nate: The adrenaline rush had taken Nate's breath away, and he gasped for air as he treaded water. "Awesome!" He managed to get out between breath.

Max: Max hit the water and soon was completely under. To be embraced with water like that.....it was both a novelty and a moment of nostalgia. Then she came up for breath, and saw only black. Her hair, now soaked flat, hung like a curtain all around her head and in fromt of her face. She laughed at herself, dipped her head back, and with both hands brushed her hair back from her face. She came back up right, her hair completely removed from her face, and it was the first time her whole face was shown to the others. It was an average face at full sight, except for the medium-long scar on her left cheek. It appeared to be old, but it was still reddish-pink and plain on her face. Max grinned, unaware of the fact that everyone could see her scar, and she laughed. "Let's do that again!" she shouted. Max looked alive, her eyes were sparkling too.
