Good morning, hyenas!
Overcast. But NOT raining, at least for the moment.
Last night Jake's football coach yelled in the middle of practice "Would Jake's parents stand up" We were like What in the world but we stood up. Coach picks Jake up, who is one of 3 smaller guys on the team, lifts him up over his head and SCREAMS "Do you see him rushing? He's getting it, he's getting it like the big boys, way to go Jake!" Then shakes him all over til he's laughing his head off and puts him down. Then he yelled out "Gentlemen, lets all play like Jake has today, give 110%"
That is a great coach! What an awesome story!
Did I ever tell you that I considered becoming a mortician? No kidding!! I have always been fascinated in the human body. But obviously becoming a coroner means going to medical school. One of the community colleges over in Portland has a mortician degree. So I spoke with them about entering the program at one time, but just never took it any further. Not really sure why??
You did tell me, actually. That's funny that you went so far as to look into it, but didn't do anything further.
I don't think I could be a coroner or mortician. I barely got through the frog dissection in jr. high, so I don't know why I like to watch that kind of thing.
And it is different somehow with a human. It's not that I believe in ghosts or anything, but I guess I do have an active imagination.
Right back atcha, baby!
You ARE an impressive group of women. I was thinking the other day about why I seem to connect with one person, not with another. Especially when, at least on the surface, the one I didn't connect with seems to have more in common with me than the other.
I think, at least for me, it has to do with:
Intelligence ~ You are all very intelligent. Sometimes we get into some deep subjects, and you all speak well and from the heart.
Humor ~ OMG, you make me laugh! Some days it means the most to me.
Heart ~ I'm not sure quite how to say it, but you are THERE for one another. You care, you try, and you support one another.
OK, there's my sappy moment for the day.
Have a great day, everyone!
