Good Evening Hyenas,

I'm at Fuddrucker's eating dinner with my grandma and family friend. We went to Nordstrom Rack and I found awesome stuff at bargain prices. I got L.A.M.B. hand bag (Gwen Stefani's line), 2 packs of Puma socks and a pair of DC Shoes sneakers and a Frank Sinatra CD.

My bf went to the doctor and he has strep throat. He's so stubborn though because he went to work afterwards. I think some of his co-workers are scared of catching it.

DH just came home from his nightly walk. He said his knee is killing him, he has to go back to the doctor again. (He's had LOTS of knee surgeries.)

DS8 is tossing a football around the room.
DS4 just walked in and held his arms out in front of him: "I. Am. A. Ro. Bah. Ah. Ah. Aht."

Just a normal night at the Alex2k house...

Note to self: Do not order mail order drugs from Pix's bf's pharmacy this week. Any chance he can work on filling antibiotic orders this evening, maybe the residue will cure him?!

I swear I am totally losing it. We just got a past due notice for the garbage bill. I always pay the bills! I don't remember not paying the garbage bill, but then again I don't remember paying it either!!!!

Then DS came out and said we have no TP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm the TP Queen, I NEVER run out of TP. Well technically I didn't run out of TP, I just had to convert to this new type. You may have seen it....it comes in a little cardboard box that dispenses 1 large sheet of TP at a time. DS looked at me like I was crazy until of course I pointed out that this new TP had lotion in it to soothe your butt!

OMG!! DH just got up and headed towards the bathroom all worried that he's out of bum wad in his bathroom! Amazing, tell him the rain gutters are overflowing and it's a shrug, run out of TP and he panics!!

His latest comment: WTH WOMAN?? They won't pick up our garbage and we can't crap!!!!!

See above! According to DH it's a sad, sad day in the Irwin house.

I'm thinking Costco trip tomorrow.

Come to think of it why does our TP have to be on a roll?? Wouldn't it be just as easy to use it like the Kleenex, right out of the box? And who decided that it had to be on a roll in the first place??

You know I bet 3 years from now I will see a new TP dispenser that looks just like Kleenex. And somebody other than me will be making millions of dollars on my idea.

Yeah, I meant to go yesterday but ran out of time. Then I was going to go today, but left it too late because I was DISing.

So TOMORROW! Tomorrow I will go to Costco.

It was forecast to rain here today, so last night I put some navy beans on to soak. Then made a big crock pot of navy bean soup today. Of course it didn't rain, was sunny most of the day and then finally clouded up late in the afternoon. I was starting to worry that I was going to be sitting down to a nice bowl of warm beans and hot cornbread and 80 degree weather!

We really eat different here according to the season. Summer is more bbq, sandwiches, salads, tacos, etc...I don't cook a lot in the summer. But once it start getting colder I go more for the comfort food...beans, meatloaf, spaghetti.

I wonder if people in warmer climates do that or if it's just a north thing? Or perhaps it's just an Alison thing and I'm totally crazy??

Kind of a quiet night here. Looks like everyone made it here early. Of course I was on here early last night and nobody was here.

Staley was here earlier but then started to feel punky, so she went to take a nap. I'm hoping she'll pop on in a bit.

Gina was here for a bit but then disappeared. She was watching Criminal Minds, so maybe it's gotten intense!
