Yes but she works at the Disney store and it doesnt work for disney store CM's only Park CM's. The Disney Store CM's dont get the one day a year status.

Maybe one day when I'm rich. For now DL is my frequented park of choice 5 hours away instead of a 5 hour plane ride.

Oh yes my old boss at WDW would in a heartbeat but I cant go back every year so I cant do that now. I have friends who live in MS, GA, AR, LA and they do this and get in free and get CM discounts on rooms when they do vacations they just have to work 1 day of them. If I lived closer I TOTALLY WOULD

Ok,

I'm packing a suitcase now with costumes and the t-shirts I bought the kids that they wont wear before we go etc. I had them sitting in a bag on the floor but Samantha keeps getting into it and she is getting nose juice all over them so I'm throwing everything into a suitcase. Now I'm getting excited and I still have 10 days to go.

I'm not certain they have that figured out yet. I know she had not even gotten her new disney ID and she was headed to DL and was bummed about that and she is the GM of the store.

I am still waiting to find out from DH his next free weekend to take a jump down there...ss is really pretty...I almost died when they showed us the big one..(2 br..) the room, ...and the other one..now I am confused is it ak or wilderness...crap,,,I need to look one sec...I will grab the little book they gave us...

Jeff found this envelope today in my file cabinet marked Disney tickets. He opens it up and its old Cast tickets we had. We never used them and saved them for when family came since they never expired. Well, family NEVER came SO we brought them with us. NOW we can use them but I forgot about them and I've already purchased all our tickets seperately and he found enough tickets for 4 more days for the 4 of us.

He's like ADD ON!

Well, I guess we will keep them for next time. DOH. What an idiot. I have 17 days of park tickets for a 13 day trip!

I wonder if you worked there seasonally (like during the holiday season) you'd get the same perks? Maybe not. When I worked at Toys R Us (a zillion years ago ) there was a difference between temps (I think we wore red and white striped shirts) and regular employees (who wore orange and white stripes.)
