I've been active on this thread for some strange reason, yet we've only used Disney buses for one trip in the past 7 years. We used to ride buses when the kids were younger, but stopped for many of the reasons on this thread. In 2009, we decided to save some money and try the buses again. BIG MISTAKE! We are now back to happy car rental people! I find this an interesting debate, but one that we stay far away from when actually at WDW anymore. It's not just the behavior issue, it's the long waits for buses especially at night, multiple stops for many resorts, no direct resort-to-resort transporation, slow transportation to DTD, etc.
I've only been to WDW twice - once on site and once at a rental home (my sister purchased one!) When I was on site, I was by myself with a 10 month old. Attempting to handle the stroller plus all she needed for the day AND hold her was out of the question for a bus trip. In addition, I don't want to feel trapped on Disney property. A rental car is always part of the expense. Even with a vacation home available, there will come a time when I want to immerse my daughter in the experience and stay on site..but a car will be part of the package.

I had my tonsils and uvula removed a few days ago and the popcorn sounds really good!!! Too many soft foods the last few days and I'm ready for something solid to eat.
