Hi Jodi -
Definitely foster the dog, that's a no-brainer
? I booked my room this week as well for WDW '10 and was pondering Goofy vs 1/2 and then wondered what on earth I was thinking
.
Cindy - Hoping the new drugs are kicking in and the ears are beginning to feel better
Mike - Way too spooky about Howard being in the pic
NCV is a Nerve Conduction Velocity test and involves electrodes. They LOST my first test results and I had to repeat the shock treatment again
.
Dave - Glad you were able to run despite the nasty virus
.
Howard - Congrats on registering for NYC
MCM sounds like a great plan as well
Colleen, Jen, Cam, Lou, Chester, Matt, Steve -
We're headed to NYC to take in Mary Poppins tonight
. I haven't ran in 2 WEEKS and am pretty mean about it
. Not due to a lack of desire, mind you, simply due to a huge case of LTO. I told XH that it would be in everyone's best interest if I get a run in before we leave
.
As for the elusive leg DX, my ortho seems to think it's a compression peroneal neuropathy (compressed nerve on the outside of my lower leg) and that makes sense to me considering I've been plagued with it for 1.5 years and the pain doesn't correlate with mileage. However, the NCV came back negative so no surgery for now. Physical therapy 3 x per week for the next 6 weeks. Whatever lessens the pain works for me
. Hopefully I'll be settled enough this week to begin a true regimented training program. Oh yeah, I BOUGHT a new TM this week since I couldn't deal with the other options for obtaining my old one
. That should be delivered this week as well, which should increase my training options since it's been difficult integrating training into my new life
.

Just trying to get everyone healthy in the family. It has been a TERRIBLE winter for us. We have never been so sick.

That would be too cool if you & Charlie got in
You're my idol.
I sent a text to Denny (Dennyha) to get the link for his MCM '08 hotel and Charlie and I have now booked (seperate) rooms for MCM. We'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Rosland which is right near the finish area family gathering place. It is only one Metro stop from the start too if I am correct.
for the new treadmill!
