Yes, I agree with everyone else, if you want to race, run a cool, flat Fall marathon and then Goofy will be just icing on the cake. Like Matt, my training between Philly and WDW was lacking, just getting in one 14 miler, but it didn't matter, I ran pretty much ran the same time. DH worked his butt off to get his BQ because of the extra .3 of a mile he probably ran with all the corners and curves. I am sure that last mile around World Showcase adds quite a few more steps.

You know what, I tried to follow this approach at Philly and was doing really well until the last 10 miles. The more tired I got the more I was drifting all over the course.

I like that one too. However, looking at most of those photos makes me realize that I really need to work on my running form. In the photo of me crossing the finish line, it looks like I am trying to do the chicken dance or something.

I got to witness Cindy call Matt a dumb-a** at the finish line of the half. I even recorded it. Aaaaaah, that was a warm fuzzy moment. No wonder Matt wants to finish ahead of Cindy in a race. Look at what happens when he finishes with her.

Jodi - Sign him up for the RTB Relay, as long as he is willing to drive the bus for a shift or two.

Yeah, I'm pretty much signing up for Goofy 2010 this week. Why not? I spent a fortune to run a DL race just to get a "special" coast to coast medal. Minus well blow another fortune to get 3 more Disney medals.

Jodi - Looks very cool. So far the schedule works for me, but I am speaking only from a running standpoint. Would need to get clearance from the boos at home to verify I do not have some family commitment planned. I'd also have to talk to myself to see if I have a work commitment.

Count me as a yes. Here's what I have for 2009...

3/15 - Caesar Rodney 1/2
3/29 - Ocean Drive 10-miler
April - Penn Relays 20K
5/3 - Broad Street Run (10 miles) - this is my big Spring race
5/15 - Raggy Relay (looks wide open)

Fall: PDR, LBI 18, NYC(?), A.C. (?)
Winter: Goofy

Let me know if any of you BOTs wants to jump in on any of these races.
