I've never seen 7th Heaven, but I suppose you mean non-denominational?

My mistake.
JennyMominRI said:You found it rediculous that the son converted to Judaism? Or is it just that the show jumped the shark and you got tired of ALL the crazy storylines
Gotcha..Makes sense. As someone who'se done what Matt Did,it is abig deal..It happens quite a bit though when people marry a Jew..My conversion class was full of people converting before or after they married..It's long process thoughFree4Life11 said:I found the storylines ridiculous, way over the top. I stopped watching, however, after the son converted to Judaism. I didn't find the conversion ridiculous, I was just surprised at how the show made converting religions to be not that big of a deal, at least that's how it looked from my perspective. It may not be a big deal to others, but it was to me and I didn't like how they did it so I stopped watching. People always say if you don't like something turn it off, so I did.

But its open season on all things Christian. You can make fun of the Christians on TV all day long but dont you dare mock any other faith.
7th Heaven, Touched by an angel, and Joan of Arcadia are just watered down theology that make no mention of Jesus and paint a Universalistic picture. They present weak, non-biblically sound main characters. (Angels are not people. )
Now this new Book of Daniel show just outright and blatently mocks Christianity.
Can you imagine if they had a show that made fun of Muslim clergy. It wouldnt be pretty.

I dont think its much of a conversion to the Jewish faith for most of these so-called Christians because if they truly gave their life to Christ then they would not turn from Him nor would they marry outside the faith because they know what a peril it is to be unequally yoked with your spouse.
He doesn't phase me.. I know my religious path. He doesn't. I'm not even sure he believes most of what he says. I think he just likes to stir up stuffMissy1961 said:This is very close to a personal attack. Not very Christian like.

Aidensmom said:Joan of Arcadia was one of my favorite shows. It was a show about a young girl who encountered a lot of real life problems, and she sought the advice of and listened to God, even if she did not understand why He wanted her to do something, to get through her life. I really don't understand how that is blaspemous or heresy, it is just good family entertainment. I am not expecting it to teach me or my child our weekly Sunday School lesson.

I'm just glad all of the Christians I know aren't like him/her.
