I'm sure most of you don't check out the DVC threads. For a view of the other side of the resort, someone posted a good set of pics from a stay in a 1BR villa boardwalk view. Nice pics if you want to take a look.

Love the lamp (stacked teacups). Seems like as Disney is updating resorts they are adding lamps with character to the rooms. I was looking at photos of other resorts like BC and WL and noticed new lamps there too. Nice touch!

What type of view did you happen to get?

A lovely one of trees

We overlooked the main entrance and the path to the buses. Didnt much matter to us, since we were at the BOARDWALK!!!!! But I did get to see my godsons DME bus leaving!

Thanks again that should work out fine since we won't need to recharge everything each day, mainly my camera and my MIFI(taking it just in case the internet at the resort does not work for me) I will not have to recharge daily the phones or my ipad daily

I found the wifi internet excellent there, and I have sprint cell service and it was horrible therefore drowning my battery very fast, I had an extra battery which was a good thing. Not sure how much you use your phone, but you may need to charge it more then you think.

We just got back from staying at the Boardwalk. We didn't get a room with the Epcot view this time. We were able to view the fireworks on the bridge leading to Epcot or to the Beach Club.

We took the Keys to the Kingdom tour and enjoyed it.

Hi KOOK! Great idea to include both the BC/YC movie schedule and the BWI movie schedule. As you may know, BC and BWI are two of our favorite resorts, and I love that we can spend time at both when staying at one (minus the pools, of course!) At this point, I think we'll always have to do a split stay so that we can at least cover Poly, BC and BWI. (If we like CR and GF when we stay there next year, we're doomed!) Anyway, I'm just so excited for the new thread!!

Hi all. My DH wants a view of his favorite treat during our March BWI WV stay, so we've created our own view-type: Funnel Cake View (FCV).

I need to make a request with CRO, so I'd like to ask for the a room over the storefront closest to the funnel cake stand on the boardwalk. But I am drawing a blank. Geesh I hope it is not BWV territory.

Does anyone here know what that storefront is directly across from the Funnel Cake Stand on the Boardwalk? When I call CRO I'd to request a room by saying something like, "A room over Flying Fish" or "A room over Seashore Sweets" etc.

The Funnel Cake stand is located across from the Boardwalk Villas rooms in the area of the Screen Door General store entrance. So it is in Boardwalk Villas territory and that means it's not anywhere close to the rooms on the Boardwalk Inn side which would be where the Flying Fish is located.

Thanks CRF4L. I hoped you'd be my answerer. That's just about how I remember it. I do remember now running from lobby through pouring rain to try to get to the stand before it closed on one visit. Then I went in Screen Door GS to get out of the rain while DH ran back to the lobby with his beloved.

I would try to request a Watver View room as close as possible to the Flying Fish. The reason is room #4261 is a Standard Club Level Room that's over Flying Fish, so if your not staying Club Level then obviously that room is not an option.

Oh BTW, I just checked and Standard CL is still available for my dates...
