What are the available views for a club level standard room? It's just listed as "standard room" w/o options of views. Do all CL standard rooms have the same view?![]()
Really looking forward to our upcoming 2/22 to 2/28 trip to BWI. We were last at BWI in 2005, and liked it so much! Last year we had some unique and wonderful pixie dust sprinkled on us with an upgrade to Concierge at BC during the same February week. Not expecting that again, (although I can always hope) so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on quick breakfast options around the area? Hi to those on the thread, interesting to note that I haven't logged on in a while, last time I did I had been reading the last 2 posters on this thread TR's! I remember Scottmc was at GF right after me in 2009!
. I'm going back to read more in this thread now

You will either get a Boardwalk View or a Garden View. This past December we requested the Boardwalk View and were lucky enough to get it, so they put is in room 4223. However the only way to make sure you get that view when staying Club Level is to make a reservation for their Deluxe Room, although it is more expensive. What are the available views for a club level standard room? Last month during our Club Level stay at the Boardwalk Inn we asked exactly how many Deluxe Rooms they had, because we mentioned how we looked online each day for our dates and none became available. I believe we were told there is only 8 in total, because they have 5 on the 4th floor and 3 on the 3rd floor. So is 8 the correct number?
Well for us it's always long distance when calling the Disney Reservations Center, which is why we never thought about calling and I assumed the information online would be the same had we called. So we didn't want to waste any $ calling to find out what we already knew before. Plus their system is frustrating when they make you press so many numbers with all the questions before you finally speak to a Cast Member, so that only adds to the cost of call. Obviously if that room became available while I was looking online then we would have called to change our reservation, although it would be easier if WDW could let us do that on their website. Although if they had a 1-800 number to call for reservations like every other resort destination, then we would have called to see if it was any different then the website.I know there aren't that many, but I'm not sure of the exact number. I know we watched and watched online for a deluxe for about a month to no avail and then one day I decided to call and they said yes, they had one available and I seriously did thisSo moral of the story is, call, check online, call, check online..... Don't know why, but they don't always have the same info!

Thanks for confirming the same number like I thought it was.I believe I've read there are 8 deluxe rooms. I feel your pain with having to call CRO! I check for everything online and only call when I absolutely HAVE to.
My husband and I are just back from a split stay between the Boardwalk Inn and the CR. We stayed in a Deluxe Club Level room. Our experience wasn't the best and I don't think we will go back. There wasn't really anything wrong with the hotel it just wasn't for us.
When we arrive at a hotel I always do a bed check for clean sheets and bed bugs. One of our pillowcases had blood stains on it so I had to have it changed. The hairdryer did not work, it turned on but no air blew out, instead it heated up so much that it started to smoke. I had to request a new one. On our last day there, the toilet over flowed all over the bathroom floor. These things can happen at any hotel but it was enough that we just couldn't see ourselves going back.
Sorry to hear this! Hope you still had a great trip, and at least you got away from the cold. How was CR?
That's to bad you had some of those problems with your room.My husband and I are just back from a split stay between the Boardwalk Inn and the CR. We stayed in a Deluxe Club Level room. Besides what happened with your room I am just wondering what did you think of the Boardwalk Club Level Cast Members and did you get a room on the 3rd or 4th floor?
Well should you ever stay Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn again and in their Deluxe Room you should request a room on the 4th floor and tell them how you can't walk up the stairs. However all their Standard Club Level Rooms are located on the 4th floor where the lounge is, so knowing that fact maybe that room category would be better for you.The cast members were great, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We had a room on the 3rd floor which was not convenient for us as I am unable to do stairs so it was a long walk to get to the lounge.
The hotel is very nice but it just didn't have the same feel as the CR.
The overflowing toilet would have made me unhappy, but----
good thing Disney has so many resort choices! I would stay at BWI every time, while you don't care to return. You really enjoyed CR, and I dislike it intensely.
Glad you had a great trip anyway, though!
