your going back to BWI? Awesome. I tell you though, I loved BWI CL loved loved it....Till I met YC CL.....You need to give that a try sometime too! It is my new favorite resort.....!
Yes we are and our stay there this past August was better then we thought it would be. Now at first we tried to get a Bounceback rate at the Contemporary, however no matter what days we tried in December their Club Level rooms were 100% sold out. So when we tried asking for a Standard Club Level Room at the Boardwalk it was available and we took it.

If I want to request a certain room before I arrive how/when do I contact BWI to do so?

Call the Disney's Reservation Center and tell them whatever requests you have, so they will make a note of it on your reservation.

I was thinking more of room assignment. I've never tried to do that before but I've read of others doing it x days out from their trip. I can't recall when to fax in the request and who to send it to.

Once again I am going to say call the Disney Reservations Center because that's your best option, because once it's listed on your reservation the Cast Member doing room assignments at the Boardwalk 5 days before you check-in see's it and will do their best job possible to see if your requests will come through.

Are most boardwalk views at BWI firework view?
Honestly we didn't see any fireworks from the Boardwalk View in our Deluxe Room. We were able to see Illuminations from the Innkeeper's Club Level lounge because the view from there was of the Garden View and part of the France Pavilion.

In the deluxe rooms, you have to make sure of the times of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, because the times can change each night. The, if you look over the Beach Club at the right time, you do get a pretty decent view of the MK fireworks. We would go from the lounge balcony at 9 to see Illuminations from EPCOT, to our own balcony to see the MK fireworks.

Good times.

Just back from the BWI. What a great trip it was. Had a Garden Suite with a private balcony and all I can say is WOW!!!!!

The CL staff was nothing but helpful. Very friendly and took the time to speak to us.

Didn't realize how close the resort was to Epcot. Always thought it was further away.

It's great you enjoyed staying there.

Well if we ever stay in the Deluxe Room again that is something I will remember.

I just changed our reservation from the WL to BWI. We will be spending two night at the end of our cruise in January. Since we don't have the kids with us this trip we decided we wanted to spend a night on the boardwalk visiting some of the more adult places. So that led me to thinking why not just stay on the boardwalk in order to save time since we are there for such a short period of time. My question is are ther any king bed standard rooms? Any places on the boardwalk not to miss?

does the BWI have full balconies in standard rooms? do they have full balconies at all? thanks.

I looked through the thread but didn't see this info. We stayed at the BW in the past and had a standard room with a daybed. Are there 1BR Villas with Daybeds?

Since we are arriving next Thursday at the Boardwalk Inn last night we got an e-mail from Disney Destinations that our upcoming stay and to remind us that we can now start the online check-in process. However since we are staying Club Level we are not doing that.

So jealous!! Please plan on doing a detailed report when you get back--something for me to look forward to!

CR, I am sending you a PM before you go....
