The Biggest Loser: MICHELLE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have a favorite team so far. I'm hoping for the sake of the man's health, that team yellow sticks around for him to make a significant impact on his weight. Other than that, there aren't any personalities that are standing out.

ME TOO!!! I really do not have any favorites BUT I am liking the YELLOW team each week because Coleen seems like she is so driven to get her and her dad back in the shape they need to be in. :goodvibes

I loved the fact Rocco totally surprised the contestants with those that did all the home cooking got to sit it out while those that rarely did any cooking went shopping and actually learned how to prepare a meal and a HEALTHY meal at that....oh...and I love RALPH's...only store I shop in here in SoCal!!! ::yes::

BIGGEST LOSER FAMILIES; Tonight, September 30, 2008 8pm

The teams pack their bags and head to the Grand Canyon! :happytv:

What exactly do you mean? She's not allowed to be seen in public before the finale?
They ARE allowed into the public, they just can't be "featured" on any TV program (such as local news) until they are voted off.
I live next to the Red Team's town and they were featured on the local news ONLY by telephone and they said while walking through the mall, people they knew would stop them & notice "they looked different". They also said they couldn't be shown on TV until they're voted off.

Here is their first interview at the beginning of the show.

I'm really routing for the Yellow Team.

If it were up to me, only 1 team would be below the Yellow line each week and that team would be eliminated. The challenges would be to reward the teams with calls homes, etc.

Why are these 2hrs at a time?! :confused3 Seriously...I have no DVR right now and it is killing me.
I HAVE TO MOVE PEOPLE....:lmao:

Oh and I hate the brown team....that women needs a punch in the mouth.

Basically, Bob and Jillian worked everyone super hard because they didn't do much working out at the Grand Canyon. Then, Alison told everyone that the
one team who lost the least amount of weight (percentage) would be below the yellow line by themselves and it ended up being the yellow team with Coleen losing 7 pounds and her dad GAINING 2 pounds. So Coleen and her dad were below the yellow line. Nobody else got to vote, it was up to the two of them to decide which one would stay and which one would go home. They decided to send the dad home and since getting home several months ago he has lost 50 pounds in addition to the 20 he lost at the ranch.

Thank YOU!!!!:yay:

You know the dad was having so much trouble anyway. It probably was for the best. Glad to hear he lost more weight.:thumbsup2

So are they starting to break up the families now? I knew that was coming eventually.:sad1:

You are welcome! Also, the dad had to go to the hospital to get checked
out for a possible blood clot in his leg. He didn't have one, but he had torn
something in the leg, so I guess that is part of the reason they chose for her to stay.

He did so well at home. 70 pounds all together! (Ranch and Home)
I was so excited to see that!

I was also waiting for when they started sending 1 person home at a time.
It was sad!! :sad1:

I feel that some how they are weighing those people before the "big weight in". How would they to know the last group did the worst each week? Plus, why would they split a family...it just doesn't sound right with it a "family game" this season?

For starters they always split up the group, that is standard OP's.;)

I don't get what you mean about weighing them before the weigh & in the last group worst each week.:confused3

Do you mean that the yellow team has been the worst group, because they were not last week BUT they were based on Colleen's betting.
I think it was obvious that the dad was not going to make it there. That is one tough place.

I'm surprised they lost as much weight as they did since they were away. Maybe it was just editing and they really did do more exercise then we saw.

And did they eat that birthday cake they bring out to Colleen?

Was really hoping the red team would have won the motor home for their family. The other two do not look like campers to me.:lmao:

So do you think they are going to do this until all the families are split up? What happens at the next weight in with just one person?

I was so surprised by that! I figured he would lose *some* weight - but he is really taking this seriously - good for him!!! :thumbsup2

Oh..wow, I thought Jerry looked fabulous!!! That is just so good when contestants that get voted off, leave early also realize this is just so important to continue their NEW lease on life. :woohoo: Paul from last season did not take this serious at all. :sad2:

Oh and as far as the CAMPER....I was sooooo rooting for the RED team!!! I wanted them to have that for their 3 little boys. :sad2:

I was rooting for the red team to win the camper also.
I'm assuming they ate the cake. It was pretty small. Maybe they shared with the crew.
It was probably for the best that yellow team's dad left. I think with the competition he pushed himself too much and got hurt. I'm glad he still kept at it and now looks so much better and not taking so many meds. :cheer2:

I was thinking that maybe the tv crew had them to weight in before the "week end" so that they can stage who goes last on the scales. I just wondered if that's how they know who had the worst week in losing pounds.

I have a lot of questions to ask Heba when I can. I don't to ask any that could get her into trouble now.

They are weighed in the underwear, off camera, before the "weigh in" we see on t.v. Then the producers pick the order in which they "weigh in" for opitimal dramatic effect.

Well if they do do that...weigh them earlier...and you are saying the producers KNOW their weight....why do they continue to make the women wear those sports bras? :sad2: Why can't they just wear t-shirts? Those sports bras make them look so uncomfortable....:sad2:

They must not let them see the weight though because of the expressions on their faces look like they don't know the amount of weight loss.:confused3

That makes alot of sense. Well it is a TV show afterall....

I will bet they do not know the weight beforehand. That would ruin it.
