I share your love of lists!! They're the BEST! I agree they're very relaxing and therapeutic, not everyone gets that!!
Those look pretty comprehensive to me... But when trying to think of my pre arrival and travel days here's a few things we also do:
- Start a Disney box, we basically have a box in our room, and anytime I buy or find something in the house that is for our trip I throw it in! It really helps with the small things, band aids, pins, etc, so I don't forget them!
- Gather addresses and a few stamps to send postcards from Disney.
- Print off and laminate our daily touring schedule. I totally love the ones I did last year, I even had notes to self such as asking for a particular magic shot I knew they only did in a certain park, etc
Yay, glad I'm not alone in the love of list making!
Ooooooh, yes, Disney box, thank you for reminding me. That's almost as fun as making a list

You probably already know... But in case you don't, the Disney store is running their buy one get one for $1 promo on stuffies right now! Good time to buy the Mickey gifts!![]()
Thank you!!!
It always takes me a looot of self control not to start off PTRs many, many days in advance as well, so I definitely get you there.
Definitely liking that pre-trip check list too, and totally snatching some stuff off of it! It'll be our first time traveling with children, so we definitely have to adjust our planning, and stuff like stroller rain covers never even crossed my mind.
I'm glad my list was able to help you out
And, yay, for first trip with kiddos! What are their ages?Yes, it is an adjustment with kids, but also way more fun in so many ways

At least I was able to use my wife's family's address in the States for the Disney Movie Club and Rewards! But I always feel like sites like Swagbucks track IP addresses a bit more carefully, so I couldn't do that there
At first it didn't seem like it would really have the possibility of affecting our stay too much. The quiet pool, the fire pit and a few other things were notated. No biggy. I've got a 5 and 2 year old coming along, we don't even know what a quiet pool is
, and talked to the Hubs about a new plan. We hemmed and hawed and compared and discussed, but in the end it kept coming back to the Grand Floridian Villas. Yep, right back where we started on this journey. But, there was one slight problem. I was now completely and utterly attached to the idea of staying for 12 nights. Doesn't work with our point set and GFV. We also knew that it didn't work with our budget to do a cash stay for the first 3 nights. So, back to my Excel sheet and calculator I went. And now, a new plan is born.
