Oh, and tonight before bed the kids asked for money for church tomorrow. They will be at VBS all week and have a collection all week. But if that is all we spend I may still consider it a $0 day, I mean, it's giving not spending.


I don't count giving to church spending! It is giving!! We are doing VBS this week too! Tomorrow I'm going on a penny hunt!

Cindy- I wouldn't count giving change at VBS as spending. I used to use VBS as an excuse to clean out my change jar. The trickier part will be not getting ice cream after VBS with the friends, or Mcdonalds because it is easier. Don't be too hard on yourself if that happens.

I am also trying to eat out less. We didn't do many TS restaurants to begin with, but WOW that fast food can add up quickly!

Thanks neighbor! We live in Slidell so we ate at Olive Garden. Next time we eat out though, I want to go back to Superior Grill on St Charles. GOOD stuff!!
