Hey guys,

I have never been to California or disney land before. I will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Cypress. What or how is the best way to get to disney from there? I am thinking Uber? Has anyone stated at this hotel before?

I've never stayed there, but if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's off Katella. If you will have a car, it's an easy drive down Katella. Uber will work. A taxi would also work. It would be about $35 though, without tip. Uber or Lyft would be about $20 I think. That's one way, so you'd have to double that per day. I actually think, depending on how many days you go, a rental car *might* end up being slightly cheaper, especially if you're there for more than 4 days. Sure, you'd have to pay for parking and gas, but $20 parking per day and maybe $3 in gas per day would still be less than the cost plus tip of relying on someone else to drive. This is just my opinion and I'm sure you'll find others who disagree. Southern California is just so much easier to get around if you don't have to rely on a driving service or other public transit.

Looks like it's about 7 miles from Disneylnd so Uber might be your best bet.

I'm not sure. I know it's on yamaha way..right across the street from yamaha. I'm hoping for 3 days, but it might only be 2. It will really depend on my husband work schedule.

I'm not 100% sure, but I doubt that there is any public transportation there. Cypress is OK generally but can get a bit sketchy when you get near the borders, especially near Hawaiian Gardens (there's a casino there, also called Hawaiian Gardens) and maybe near Stanton, so I'm not sure how comfortable you would be if you don't know the area.

Uber is pretty much your only option. You won't be able to hail a taxi there, so if you want a taxi you'd have to call one.
