For lunch earlier I had the last of the roast out of the fridge from the Sunday before, a week old but still smelled ok
Had a packet of Horsey sauce and a couple of Arby's sauce. Had a bowl of peanut butter crunch and a bagel for bfast, blah. Now that life is back to normal I'll try harder to stay OP. Had a egg mcmuffin type thing this morning, had a bfast brick and a small granola bar a little later. Think I'll use the KFC chicken salad coupon again for lunch.

I bet that since life is getting back to normal for you and your family now that your scale will start showing some major losses!

I'll be looking for you in this GRAND OCEAN...

Things have been going ok, mowed the lawn last night, need to try harder at dinner to cut the portions and carbs. Drinking lots of water, looks like the heat is on here again. Scale still holding steady in the mornings at about 381. Staying overnight at the IL's tonight, so won't get my good saturday sleep-in/weigh-in, maybe sunday. Its looking real good for the gigantour concert flyaway to W. Palm, ridin' busses and sleeping in airports, http://www.sleepinginairports.net, funny site.
she's scary!
Sorry to hear that the scale has been bugging you. Have you thought about trying out a structured food plan for a while? Even if just for a few weeks to try and help you feel like you have your portions, carbs, etc. in a range you are happy with and your body will react to. Now I am the last person to be telling someone to try this diet or that diet, I just offer the suggestion from the frustrations I see you post. Another suggestion I would toss out there is cutting down on your fast food meals. (I know time is a huge consideration!) I say this because many items that look healthy at the fast food places can still contain ingredients you may not know are there, aka sugar in seasonings and corn syrup in everything. The plan I follow talks a lot about MSG and its effects on hunger also. So a product could have an ingredient listed as "natural flavors" when they really mean MSG. Now of course YMMV with this info and not everyone is sensistive to MSG but some are especially those of us drawn to the carbohydrates. So use it as you will or don't! I just offer info I have gathered. hehe!

DisDon said:Hi Mike, you're totally right, I've been supplementing my good food with bad food, not a good thing. Its all about planning ahead for me, gotta do the bfast casserole again this week.
Weekend was pretty good, ate a taco salad on the way to the Mormon Handcart Pageant, http://www.handcartpageant.com/. Nice show, went to the sites in Wyoming back in June. Saturday had a big breakfast, eggs, bacon and pancakes, then mowed IL's lawns again. Spent the afternoon changing the spark plugs in my car, its a V6 lumina, the front 3 plugs were easy, but the back 3 were murder. Took me about an hour and a half, was really sweating until i got out the electric fan. Then went out that night with Elaine, she got a gift certificate for dinner from work for working overtime. We went to a fun mexican place, Cafe Pierpont. Overdid it a little, had a 3 enchilada plate, beef, chicken and crab, yummy!! Nice salsa bar, ate too many chips with it.
Sunday started with homemade eggmcmuffin, then had a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch. Grilled marinated chicken leg quarters for dinner, salad, corn and mashed potatoes. Walked for only about a half hour last night before the lightning started getting too close. Had a BK sourdough bfast sandwich with Elaine this morning, had to take the car in to the mech, changing the spark plugs didn't fix it, still missing. Probably either plug wires or clogged injectors, beyond my limited abilities.
So, I went ahead and changed the dang clippie, been hovering around it for a while now, last 2 days its been right on it, maybe the high side of it (dial type scale, not digital). Needed a new goal.
Gotta do more banana dancing!![]()
