Once we were finished taking a nice stroll through the Pangani forest trail it was time for us to use our FPs on Kilimanjaro Safaris.
While we were waiting in line, an exhausted Jayden fell asleep in my arms.

This was very common for him to do, poor baby missed out on so many rides because he was constantly sleeping.
(I thought this sign was sorta funny
. I really felt like throwing Reya out to some of those animals earlier in the morning
j/k
or am I? )
Once we boarded our jeep I had to hand the camera over to DH because Jayden was sleeping. We normally do this ride first thing in the morning, so I was worried that most of the animals would be sleeping or hiding in the shade because of the warmer temperature and time of day. But luckily they were all out, except for the lions.
Reya really enjoyed seeing all the animals, and Jayden slept through the whole thing. I thought it was hilarious that he could sleep so well through the loud and extremely bumpy ride.
After Kilimanjaro Safaris we headed towards Its Tough to Be a Bug. On our way over the boys grabbed two personal sized pizzas from pizzafari for us all to share, ( since none of us had eaten.) We ate very quickly before we hopped in line. Im not sure if this is a popular CS place and what other people think of the pizza there, but I thought it was pretty disgusting.

I just ate a few bites, enough to make the empty feeling in my stomach go away.
There was NO line, just a long walk around the Tree of Life to get to the theatre. We were in a huge hurry because we wanted to catch the Lion King show afterwards. I would have liked to get some pictures of the Tree, but didn't have the time.

We picked up our bug eyes and waited inside the lobby for 5-10 minutes before we were let into the theatre.
Jayden was still asleep in my arms. (At this time I felt like my arms were going to fall off because I had been holding him for over an hour)
Once we were lead into the theatre I was furious at all the people who couldnt listen to directions and move ALL the way down their to aisles to make room for everyone. This was an occurance that happened each and every time we set foot into a theatre on our trip. That was my biggest pet peeve on the trip and it became tiresome very quickly.
Besides the annoying, inconsiderate people I LOVE this show.

I think its one of my favorite attractions. (Definitely my favorite 3-d attracation) Its so well done. Poor Reya became terrified of the cute little acid bug and was crying and cowering once he sprayed the audience. She hid her face in Marsha's chest for the rest of the show. Jayden slept through the whole thing, he only jumped a little when we got spayed. The screaming and loud special effects didn't effect him at all. That kid can sleep through anything.
After the show it was 4:15 PM and we REALLY wanted to see the last showing of The Lion King which was at 4:30. We tried high tailing it over to the theatre but were completely blocked by the parade that was going on. We panicked a little and had to find another way around, luckily we made it just in time.
Jayden had finally awoken once we sat down and was eager and screaming for his bottle. Marsha was kind enough to make his formula and to feed him as the show had began. Just so you all know, when Jayden is hungry he is the most impatient baby in the world. He doesnt wait for anybody and will scream at the top of his lungs until you put that nipple in his mouth.

Well once the show started he wanted NOTHING to do with that bottle. He kept pushing it away and was so wide eyed and in awe of all the sights and wonderful music that was going on around him. It was the cutest thing in the world looking at his face. Ive never seen him react to anything the way he reacted to this show. It was definitely the highlight of his entire trip. I was crying tears of joy as I was listening to the music and seeing the enjoyment on my childrens faces. I got goose bumps during the entire show.
To be continued
