Aw when is Jenn's birthday?? DH and I are both April babies.. and our anniversary is in April!

Its not critical but we are also DVC. And, we'll be celebrating Jenn's birthday (from April).

Thanks Sir! I'll update that on my FE file and post a new update when I have a few new things to add. Sounds like a lot of April occasions will be celebrated on this trip... our 1 year Anniversary is April 22. We're taking a weekend trip down to Charleston,SC... but the cruise is the real celebration!

Funny.. April is "the" month

Our cat's birthday is April 15 (yes, we celebrate our cat's birthday...)
DH is April 16th
Our anniversary is April 17th
My mom's is the 23rd
Mine is the 25th

Needless to say... April is not a cheap month!!

Btw.. we are so excited!! I literally just finished finalizing and booking our room ressies for a couple days at the park before the cruise.. Yay!! This is our first cruise, and our first Disney experience.. so we are soaking it all in apparently! lol The biggest disney thing we've done so far is visit the Disney store in Branson haha So as you can imagine, we are stoked! We'll be staying at OKW.. anybody ever stay there? Hopefully it's a good one (not that any of them I've been reading about seem like they aren't good!)

Um who wouldn't celebrate their pets' birthdays?!? I'm nuts too, it's ok! My pups are Lilo and Sebastian, they get birthday presents too.

I'd stay in a utility closet on Disney property, I'm sure it'll still be magical!

We will be there too! OKW has recently had a facelift in several areas and I think you'll be very happy. We're DVC members and haven't been truly unhappy with ANY Disney Resort. Yes, we drank the kool-aid.

We usually visit WDW every 2-3 years. DW's parents lived about an hour away so for several years we just did a day trip.

When our kids were young we stayed at a economy hotel near DTD but found it a major hassle to get to and from the park with young children. After that always stayed on property until our last visit when we tried out a timeshare, which was OK but not up to the Disney standards we'd come to expect and enjoy.

We're visiting WDW after the cruise (DS is in school until a few days before the ship sails) and will be staying at a DVC resort for the first time.

Our youngest DD's 19th birthday is May 9th. I should add that to our reservation as well as our anniversary.

I totally want to do the 5k! How do you sign up? We just did the Tangled 5k a couple weeks ago and plan on signing up for the Tower of Terror 10 miler in September. I'm newly addicted to running

As you can see from our signature photo below, we don't go ALL OUT, but we get close. We've seen some wonderful costumes on board. Dinner is great on Pirate Night and the party is wonderful. DD9 has never seen the Magic party (opted to stay at kids club). She has seen the Dream party so we are all looking forward to dressing up and doing it right. Even DD19 does some dressing up. I'm very proud that she hasn't grown up so much that she doesn't enjoy wearing Goofy pirate ears at Disney. She calls me at work and quotes the lines from the Pirates of the Carribean.

Those participating with FE will be getting their gifts from us before Pirate Night as I am going mostly Pirate themed. Pirate Rum and all! After all, we are the Pittsburgh Pirates.

My DH and I were talking about FE gifts and I was gonna go with rum for the grownups- are you also going to do that? That could make for a fun cruise!!!

I jsut found out that it's a free race that is listed in the Daily Navigator

I found it in another DIS forum and checked a couple of old Navigators (I keep them for sentimental reasons) and saw it there plain as day

I hope to see some fellow run/walkers! I'm training and trying to work on building up my speed but definitely want to do this run because not many people can!

HAHAHA!! Our crazy expensive month is May to early June- Mother's Day, my Daughter's birthday, our wedding anniversary and then my son's birthday.

We'll be doing tons of celebrating on the boat

FYI - A "Yinzer" is a person from Pittsburgh. We have funny phrases. Yinz could be said in a sentance like:

Pittsburghese: "Are yinz goin' to da sas side, n'at?"

This means: "Are you (plural) going to the South Side, (and that)?"

"Red Up" means to clean up. "Chipped Ham" is thinly sliced ham. There are several more I won't go into. I am just happy I rarely get caught uttering these phrases.

By the way happy Booking Eve to all us first-timers! Hopefully all yinz experienced cruisers left some fun for us! We didn't plan anything too major, tours in KW and Nassau, and some snorkeling and parasailing in CC. We really wanna enjoy the magic of the Magic our first go-round!
