I'm still trying to figure out why Ian didn't want her to meet his parents. What is the big secret that he is keeping? Maybe he's an Alien!

I like both Ian and Matthew...never could figure out how Chad made it this far!

Ian is mysterious and sexy while Matthew is wholesome and sweet. Both are younger than she is but both are very mature. I thought from last night that she was truly in LOVE with Ian, but that's the way I felt about Trista and Charlie. Then she chose the safe guy and somehow I think she will, too...

Who knows? The mystery makes it more interesting!

They're probably old-fashioned, foreign-born, wealthy, and therefore likely to be appalled that their son is auditioning to marry a middle-class American makeup artist they've never met on (very bourgeoisie) television?

I want Matthew to win. She seems comfortable with both Ian and Matthew, but right now, it seems that she is able to have more of a future with a husband and kids with Matthew. Things could change next week, so we'll see what happens.

Yup, probably. I'm sure if they were none to keen about having a TV crew traipsing through their home to film their meeting with Meredith, either. My limited experience with the very wealthy experience has left me with the impression that most are fiercely protective of their privacy.

Ian looks soo much better when his hair is off his forehead. I Know it is superficial but it drives me crazy, last night they showed him with his hair blowing and I thought that he was really good looking.
I thought that they were making it look like Matt, so then she would definatley pick Ian. Now I am not so sure.

... that indicated she was most compatible with Ian. That's why they had the one-on-one date. I never put much faith into those things, but I find it interesting that he's come this far.

Anyone going to watch tonight's show? I think TiVO will pick it up for me (I'll be at piano lessons with DD) so I won't miss it or "Friends".

On our local news last night they did an interview with Meredith and she said she hated taping last nights show because she had already made her decision and she hated having to Lie to make the show look good. She said she was very much in love and cant wait to finally be with her bachelor. I think its Matthew.

I wouldn't mind Ian, but since he's not a publicity hound, we'll never get to see his family!! LOL I wish I knew the story there because I just can't get past that whole hometown date thing. If I were Meredith, I'd want more information about that before moving forward with him.

Well Lanny was my favorite at first he is sooo cute!!! but i really like Matthew. i hope she picks him but i have a feeling it is going to be Ian just because i think they are going to throw us off. we'll see. Oh and i can't wait to hear about Lanny's mom!!!! i think that is why she sent him home.

I saw that, too. That would be nice because they seemed so good together.

I think the Bachelorette did the best thing by leaving those two last. I think her choice will speak volumes about who she is!

Ah, that's true... He'd probably be against a wedding show like the one Trista and Ryan did... If he does indeed propose. I'm sort of curious about his family too. His best friend seemed nice enough but his brother was so serious. Maybe Ian had a bad experience with a girl and an engagement before...
