I posted about this a while back...I said he was only 25. I think that's too young...Not that you can't find love at that age, but all the girls are going to be 21-25. Way too young to be saying, "I've done a lot in my life and I'm ready to settle down. I like it better when the guy is 32 or so and the girls are in their late 20's.

I think that Meredith needed to know exactly what type of background/beliefs that Lanny grew up with.

I agree. But I think Lanny needed to discuss that with Meredith, rather than his mother discuss it with her.

I've been doing my own survey based on danacara's theory... I think who likes who does reflect who we are and where we are in our lives.

I had MANY Ians in my 20s... they are sexy and mysterious and lures to women, but now in my 40s I'd pick a Matt ANYTIME! Just to have a child who looked just like him would be enough for me... what a cutie. And his Dad was good looking, too!

Ian could be an actor, he has a look that would make him a great villain! And the camera LOVES him!

Who knows... she may choose Matt and he turns out to be the shaky one and Ian may be the husband of the year! Interesting!

Yep, that's who it is. I think they are filming right now or just finished.

Thank you, I agree, Ian does give me the creeps. He kindof reminds me of a zombie with his "sunk" in eyes. I can't get out of my head what another poster said about his being a closet "gay" and he's trying to pull one over. There is something very strange about him. Can anyone else get beyond his good looks and see this? I still say, I wish she could go back to some of the guys she rejected in the beginning-There was an architect on last night who looked really good. I think some of those guys in the beginning she really didn't get to know to well.

I wouldn't rule out a future "Bachelor" show with Lanny - he was definitely a crowd favorite last night. The next bachelor is Jesse Palmer, backup quarterback for the NY Giants, but who's to say Lanny wouldn't be after him? That is, assuming his mom agrees to it.

Speaking of his mom, I wasn't surprised at all to hear him backing her up. That's how he was raised, so he didn't see anything wrong with it.

I'm still in the Ian camp. I even had to tell DH that Ian is hot. Not as hot as he is (of course)
