the autograph pages thread - just for MAC!!

A question for all: Does anyone know what size the pages are in the "official" autograph books sold at WDW? I'm thinking of slightly shrinking down Rosiejo's designs to fit on 4.25" by 5.5" card stock and am wondering what size paper the characters are used to signing on.

The book itself is 6 x 4-1/2. The pages inside for actual character signing is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. My daughter has an official one she bought two years ago (and also used last year) that I measured for you.

Those are awesome. What program do you use? I'm using PhotoImpact? Where did you get your borders? I've been collecting quite a few from different sites.

Some of the borders are part of photoimpact and others I made from miscellaneous clipart. It is fun, but time consuming.

I agree. It will be much faster when I know where things are that I want and how to use all the tools in photoimpact. I've been using the trial version and have decided to buy the full version. It is definitely addictive.

I bought Photoimpact 10 through the software surplus store on the web and it was only 29.99 with no rebates. Well worth the $$.

Deb - those look awesome. Nice and bright and colorful. I have one question thought, if you can explain how you are going to lay it out. Some of them don't look like there will be much room for the actual autograph. Are you going to have it so the picture is on one side of the book and the autograph on the other? Or will they just have to write smaller? Are they going to be 6x6?

This thread has inspired me to work on my autograph pages as well. How do you know which characters to make the pages for. So far I have about 35 done. But, I know I am forgetting some of the obscure characters out there. Especially The Lion King ones. What do you suggest?

It has every character that you could possible find. You may want to cut some really rare ones. However, Terra still likes her unsigned pages just to see the character.

They are 6x6 and I intentionally only left enough room for one character autograph per page. I think that there is just enough blank space to sign. If not I plan to use bright colors so the character can sign across the page if necessary.

I printed this list the other day. It is missing some characters that we saw last trip. The Little Einsteins and the Power Rangers weren't listed off the top of my head. Oh yeah, Chicken Little and Abby Mallard. I think that several of the Incredibles are available too.
