Monday, August 27th
Since we were only going to be in the world for a short time, I felt the need to do this comando style.....now, looking back, I would not suggest this....by Wednesday, we were practically paralysed....I had the family up by 6:30 am & we were out at the busstop by 7:45 most days......we are not breakfast people, so my husband & son would get coffee in their mugs (a very good purchase) & we would be on our way.....I did take along crackers, little coffee cakes & stuff like that for the parks.....we each had a water bottle & I bought squeeze breezes at Walmart, which we never could have lived without the entire trip....we brought our stroller from home & that was a great thing too....our little one does not have much stamina....it saved our lives (& our backs)....
we did early entry at MK & by 2:00 we had done it all.....Small World was closed for rehab....boo hooo......we left all the mountains for e-night, so didn't even bother with those....FP is great....once you get the hang of it.....we got some autographs, but I'll tell you.....it was soooo hot the week we were there.....mid 90's....oh yes, the pin-bug got us....my son & I really got into pin-trading.....what a blast we had with it.....
we went back to the hotel & just sat in the air-conditioning for awhile.....dh & ds went dowtown to DQ.....dd & I hung out at the pool & she had her hair wrapped.....very cute....better be for $30.....then we met the guys at the lego place, but not before we did some shopping at the Christmas store....I got some great ornaments & I thought the prices were reasonable.....dinner was at Planet Hollywood....we were very happy with the service & the food.....yummy burgers.....we had a voucher for 4 burger platters thru AAA.....our server said our daughter would never be able to eat one of their huge burgers so she substituted it for chicken fingers.....very nice touch.....back at the hotel by 10:00 & in bed, exhausted but very happy.....tomorrow, Epcot FW
