Joyce and Uchenna ROCK! They are my favorite team on this race.

Next week looks like Quite the adventure...

I agree I also don't like how the plane reservations are made for them already. This is the lst. AR my DH is watching (because of Rob & Amber) and I was telling him how the teams use book their own flights. Can't wait for next weeks show!

I love Rob & Amber!!!

I am so glad the mother/son team are gone. I thought it said a lot about them when they were talking so rudely about the street performer. Especially right after Gretchen & Meredith were watching another one & commenting so nicely about him.

I'm also ready for Ray/Deanna to go. He's a pig.

Looks like Gretchen takes a tumble next week....can't wait for the 2 hour episode!

Maybe it's me.. I don't like rude people who think they are better then everyone and people who are just cruel. That's why I hope Ray and Rob get eliminated soon. It's one thing to be clever, and outsmart others but to say things like "i'm not lettingthe old people or fruitcakes beat me" is horrible. he has children, I guess they won't be learning respect from him.
Rob is just too in too himself. As far as I'm concerned, they already won one game by being decietful and conniving. Give some-else a chance.
I don't blame others for being upset, that they are there.
I like the boyfriends and brothers.

I don't care for Rob either. His head is so big it's a wonder he can even fit in the cars! And Amber, does she serve any purpose. Doesn't seem like she does anything, just a tag along. I am sure they will make it to the top 3, but I just hope they don't win.

By the way, I'm rooting for the older folks and Ray/Deanna to both be eliminated and quick! Can't stand either team. The rest of the teams are good but I don't have a real favorite at this point. If I had to pick a favorite, It would have to be Rob/Amber....I really do like them but I'm not commited yet...Don't really love, love, love any of the teams yet.

Can't wait 'til next week! Looks great!

Once again Rob proves he is not a nice person. Good at the game, yes, but not nice. As he was getting on the plane he says "How's your stomach, Ron?". Now, was it really necessary to rub it in that every team on the plane but Rob and Amber had to actually eat the 4 lbs of meat? Nope. I seriously hope Amber watches out, because Rob's personality does not seem to me to be conducive to a marriage. I know I could never be married to someone like him.

Ah, come on, where's your sense of Ha-Ha! Rob was just teasing Ron. Maybe Ron was complaining at the pit stop about and upset stomach or something. Rob knows that everyone of those teams hates them and would go out of their way to do them in, so he jokes with to show them he couldn't care less. He knew they were probably elated that they weren't on the plane, so he rubbed it in a little. I think he is a real hoot!

I think it only happens in certain countries. This has happened before in past races. Each Country has it's own travel policies. So, they may not allow same day travel, the Show would have to pre-book the flights.

Oh, I don't think the show really likes NOT having a catch up point. They like leveling the playing field each week, so we the viewer won't know who is ahead on any given week.

I was surprised that last night they did not have a catch up. I think it was a first. Usually, the first task it at a place who's operating hours are hours away from when the 1st team arrives, so then all the teams catch up. But Lynn/Alex got right on the horse.

Lynn/Alex have to GET OVER Rob and Amber. OMG! I cannot believe that they were sitting thre BAILING out there sinking boat, and all they could say was "well, at least there is no sign of Rob and Amber". No, you idiots! They already had there clue and were heading back!

I am glad Patrick and his mom are gone. I could not handle him be so disrespectful to her another week. I can't believe how he spoke to her.

I find myself rooting for Amber and Rob more and more each week! I was thrilled when they came in 1st last night!

So, Ray/Deana are in last place? HAHAHAHAHAHA! That will teach him to open his mouth about the "old" people!

Rob rode that horse like a pro! How come they never showed his time - just said it was perfect?

I thought they were rather reserved when they walked onto the plane - if everyone else was against you and they do not try to hide it - I might have played it up a little more. After all it is a race for $1 million - they could have had to two gay boys just steaming in their seats. And since they concentrate more on Rob and Amber than the race, they should be emilinated soon.

Cannot wait until next Tuesday - 2 hours!!

I didn't think that Joyce and Uchena would get penalized for switching roadblocks since in other shows if one wasn't working out, the teams could switch to the other roadblock.

Actually...I think you mean "detour"...yes, they can switch detours if they can't get one to work fast enough for them...but "roadblocks" are done by one person (aka - the horse roadblock last night) and you can't switch off during it.

But yes - no penalty.

I'm sure there is going to be something next week that will even all the teams up...a 5 hour delay at some point or something...the 2 planes in last nights episode really created a big gap.

Ok - the mom/son team...if I spoke to my mother like that...no matter WHAT age I was...I'm sure I'd get a smack up side the head. And Patrick was just STUPID for not using the stirrups...his crotch might have hurt less if he had used them and kept his butt raised off the saddle a bit.

I really like the boyfriends...Lynn and Alex. I hope they go far.

What I miss though...is from last year...Kris and Jon. They had the BEST attitude when running this race...it was more like they were touring the world. They took the time to appreciate everything around them and were not "rude" or "ugly americans" to local. (cough-kendra-cough) I really don't see a team being as thankful for this time on THIS race...as the last race. although...I think Joyce and Uchenna are really starting to make strides towards this "type" of couple...and I think it'll come out more next week.

Because she aparantly has very little self-confidence or self-respect. Ray was such a jerk last night in the things that he said, I'm imagining that he probably has even more of a temper and is verbally abusive IRL. I agree with the person who called him a pig.

Well, if he drove 60 miles an hour, he'd make it by 9:25. We have no idea what kind of main road they were driving on, it very well could have been an interstate-type highway. Rob doesn't strike me as an "observing the speed limit" kinda guy. Although they didn't show it, I'm sure he floored it all the way.

No, I don't at all. They actually said the time they arrived at the airport was 9:25. Planes are quite often a little bit late taking off and it was a local flight, not international.

These reality shows are governed under the game show rules. The networks and producers can get in big trouble for trying to "fix" the results.

I disagree. He is obviously frustrated with her constant whining " I can't do this" at every.stinkin. obstacle. He was trying to drive home to her the seriousness of their situation; either ride the horse,or we are going home. He was very kind and loving when she finished the task, with a big hug and told her how proud he was of her. HOWEVER, I think he is much more full of himself than Rob, with his " don't second guess me again". He is the decison maker in the team, and frequently makes the wrong choices for which he doesn't take responsibility. He is a *******, but I don't get the impression that he is abusive.

Like other's have mentioned before, these reality shows are "game shows" and are governed under the same rules as other game shows. Producers can in no way do anything to fix an outcome.

Besides that rule, if you were any of the 7 teams, and you noticed certain "priviledges" that were allowed to Rob and Amber, don't you think you would be screaming to the high heavens about it? Once the teams are on the Early Show the next day, wouldn't you think they woud find a way to mention all the "luck" that found R&A? I think R&A are running a fair race. My sister says they are cheating. No, they are not. Everything they have done in this race is allowed in the rules. If not, they would be penalized.

I agree that I thought it was just a joking comment. He could have said much more when he got on the plane. Instead he just lets everyone glare at them and sits down. Did CBS delay the plane to allow them to get on? I have mixed feeling about that. Amber stated it was 9:00 and the airport was 25 miles away. I would think you would have edited that out if you are going to delay the flight for them. Plus it would be just as exciting to see them trying not to be eliminated as it would be to have them finish 1st.

Ray and his remarks were so rude, he needs to go. People talk about Rob, Ray is much worse. Plus Rob and Amber have been very nice to all the locals. Romber seem to be enjoying themselves, the countries and most of all the game.

I actually think the horses were supposed to be a catchup. Evidently, according to Phil's Diary on cbs' website, they expected the teams to be at the previous pit stop in the early afternoon, din't figure it would take so long to eat that meat or that teams would take 4 hour penalties. So if they had all gotten to the pit stop when originally thought they would all have bunched at the horses.
