THE AMAZING RACE 15, Season Starts 09/27/09

I am so happy the Globetrotters came in first!!! They are some of my all time favorite racers, right up there with Kris and John. I really want them to win it all (plus Big Easy being from New Orleans makes me like him even more ).

I was also happy Pinky and the Brain made it.

The only team I really dislike is the brothers. I am ready for them to go home.

My hopeful final 3 is:
Globetrotters
Pinky and the Brain
Megan and Cheyne

My favorite is still Meghan and Cheyne but I do like Pinky and the brain and the GT. I am hoping the three of them are the ones who make it to Hawaii. I wouldn't mind any of them winning but despite last night's mini melt down I think Meghan and Cheyne race with the most logic and haven't really screwed up any challenges yet. They pretty much think them out and get them done.

I have a feeling the situation at the dynamite challenge was a disagreement as to whether it was quicker to each fill their bags or combine to fill one. It looks like they edited that out to make it sound like Meghan was just complaining instead of it being a dialog. It might be the same with him not saying anything at the haystack challenge.

I could be wrong but I based that on how they acted on all the other shows and would tend to lean towards the first 7 shows being the rule with the 8th being the exception, possibly because of editing.

I don't think it looks good for Pinky and his dad though because it is a short flight to Estonia so I can't see a 12 hour wait in the airport making up the two hour difference, but we'll see.

The twins are just hating. They know the GTs are a some big competition. They've said before that if it comes down to a foot race, they know the GTs will win it.

Which twins are you talking about? Sam and Dan? They're brothers not twins. Sam is 23 and Dan is 21. I agree they do seem to be hating Flight Time and Big Easy w/o reason. I think you're right...S & D think FT & BE will beat them in the end.

They didn't do anything for me, but I did notice that they were very BayWatchesque. We were just missing The Hoff.

You're right. No Hawaii this season. They end up in Vegas.

That should fun! I will be anxious to see how well they know their way around Vegas. Vegas is my second favorite destination and I don't gamble at all!

The poker players would have had an advantage at the end of the race. If only they could've smacked a ball or rang a bell!

I thought it was a really good leg. The Globetrotters and brothers look like they need to have a sit down and clear the air. It looked like an accident but if anyone was to blame it looked like the GT clipped the back of whichever brother it was (I can't remember which is which). I don't see why the GTs would be upset at the brothers.

I'm a bit surprised there have been no U-turns yet. There is usually at least one if not two. I'm pretty sure if there is one that whichever of those two teams gets to it first will use it on the other.

I was sorry to see Gary and Matt go. I didn't realize it was a ferry ride to Tallinn so that canceled out any lead and the speed bump seemed pretty easy. I think they lost it with how long it took Matt to figure out what the heck a candle-la-bra was.

This week reiterated for me that I want Meghan & Cheyne to win. I still don't dislike any of the other teams but they are running the best race so far. They've been 1st or 2nd on most legs and with the slight exception of last week they have not blown up on each other or really screwed up a task like most other teams have at least once.

I think the GT's were more upset at themselves than at the brothers and were just answering the questions asked. They almost looked confused about what they were being asked.

Me too! Come on, is a race get over. I like the Globetrotters they're cool and funny.

Me too but to be fair the brothers are one of my least favorite teams EVER on TAR. It looked to me like Flight Time slipped twice, and on the second time was close enough to the brother to knock him down too.

Miss America (is her name Erica?) has stopped the whining and I'm starting to like her a lot better.

Go team Cheyne and Meghan! They are the only ones I really want to win at this point.

I still cannot stand Miss America but I think Brian is still a great guy.
The brothers are hot but too whiny for me.
I'm indifferent about the Globetrotters really.

Yeah, the ferry ride was an equalizer, and the speed bump really didn't seem very time consuming. It just seemed like the father/son team didn't bring their "A" game that day. Sorry to see them go.

I suspect the drama between the brothers/Globetrotters is more manufactured than anything else. Of course the brothers want the trotters gone--they want everyone gone, so would I, I'd love to waltz up to the finish line and collect the check!

We thought the challenges yesterday were a hoot--shooting radishes at a moose sign? Bog volleyball? A spa bus? What a riot!
