Don is wonderful! So helpful in planning and "on the ball" about making reservations and such.
As for IPO, they will book all your dining ADRs, shows, etc. Also they can help you in ordering cakes, gift baskets, etc. for your room.
There is a whole thread on this on the resorts page. I suggest you check it out since there is alot of great information on staying club-level and all the things IPO can do for you.
First off - We're renting DVC points to stay in a villa, and there will be three people in the room, including me. We're getting a studio value. Have I heard correctly that there's a queen bed and a pull-out couch per room? If so, could someone provide a picture of the couch all pulled out? And, out of curiosity, we have a blow-up air matress about the size of a normal twin bed. Would that fit in the room?
value studios are cheaper because they are tiny and cramped. i wouldn't count on another mattress fitting in a value room. apparently the furniture already in the room barely fits.
you are correct on the 1 queen and 1 sofabed.
i believe the pullout sofas are the memory foam kind and not the kind with the bar. i've seen pictures on the DVC forums of that type of sofabed but can't find them at the moment.
Can one of you AKV experts answer a couple questions about the value studio for me? THe CM I spoke to earlier was very nice but didn't have all the answers.
1. Where are they located? Are all of them in the AKL?
2. What kind of views do the value studios have? Are they all standard view? The CM said there was nothing stating what kind of view we would have if we booked one.
3. How come the value studios are less expensive than the AKL one bedroom standard views? Only slightly moreso, but I would think the villas would price higher?
sorry if this has already been asked- cause i didn't read all the pages yet
anyone you recently been to AKL if the refrigerators are free?
i think they are but my DH read somewhere that they charge like $10.
do i have to request one?
thanks
