1) Have you received Mickey Mail? If so, what? Yes, just received over 10,000 dollars worth of tickets!!

2) Do you pack specific clothes just for Disney (shirts, shoes, etc)? If so, let us know what. Yes, I have a tote that is just for Disney clothes, but I am also really really bad about buying everyone all new clothes for vacation.

3) Do you recommend online check-in or not? NA since we stay off site

4) Are you making a specific room request? Yes, this time we are going to try to be closer to the pools

5) Name 5 things that we should NOT forget to pack for Disney? bathing suits, sunscreen, light weight clothes, ponchos, MONEY.

6) Give a restaurant review of one of the places on the June list that people will be visiting. Crystal Palace- get a late lunch and enjoy the dinner buffet at lunch prices

7) Give a hotel review for a place on property. Tell someone your favorite thing to do at that hotel. (see page 1- pick an hotel and tell your favorite thing to do) - Sorry we are offsiters all the way.

8) Would you be interested in a DisMeet for June? - Yes!!

9) Are you going to sport your LGMH or June logo? If so, should we stop and say hello? - I will have my LGMHs and about 30 people following me around. Yes!

10) What things should we remember to do for while we are away? (Ex: have cats fed, stop mail, stop newspaper?) - Summer list is different than winter list for us. DON'T FORGET SOMETHING TO EAT WHEN YOU COME HOME NOTHING IS WORSE THAN COMING HOME TO AN EMPTY FRIDGE WHEN YOU ARE EXHAUSTED FROM DRIVING 15 HOURS STRAIGHT.

1) Have you received Mickey Mail? If so, what?

Not yet! I will be calling on Monday to see if it was sent out yet or not. I'm super excited to open the mail box and see it.

2) Do you pack specific clothes just for Disney (shirts, shoes, etc)? If so, let us know what.

I have a couple Nightmare Before Christmas shirts I will bring and my DH will probably bring his Nightmare Before Christmas bag for when we are in the parks.

3) Do you recommend online check-in or not? Why?

We've only been once before and used online check-in. We arrived around 1pm to the resort and waited in the short line for online check-ins. Our room was already ready and we just grabbed our paperwork and headed towards the food  We are probably not going to be doing it this time because its our honeymoon and we'd like to request a specific building.

4) Are you making a specific room request?

Yep. Hopefully we can get a room in the Casitas building in CSR.

5) Name 5 things that we should NOT forget to pack for Disney?

-Suncreen
-Comfy Shoes
-Tylenol
-Refillable Water Bottle
-Ponchos

6) Give a restaurant review of one of the places on the June list that people will be visiting.

Coral Reef - We visited this restaurant last time we were at Disney and it was an awesome experience. We went at lunch time without an ADR and didnt even have to wait to be seated. It was a great place to go to get out of the heat because of the low lighting and cool atmosphere. The giant fish tank really kept us entertained while we waited for our food and it was awesome to see some of the different types of aquatic life in there. The food was okay, not good but not bad either.

7) Give a hotel review for a place on property. Tell someone your favorite thing to do at that hotel.

The only resort we've stayed at on property was All Start Sports. It was a nice resort. It was kept very clean and the staff was very friendly. Its more of a resort for kids though so we didnt enjoy it as much as some families might.

8) Would you be interested in a DisMeet for June?

I dont know if my DH would be comfortable with that and our days are booked solid anyways.

9) Are you going to sport your LGMH or June logo? If so, should we stop and say hello?

Yes we will and I would love it if you stopped and said hi!

10) What things should we remember to do for while we are away? (Ex: have cats fed, stop mail, stop newspaper?)

We need to have our cats and turtle fed. Oh and also have someone bring our mail in.

I cant wait to get there! Only 27 more days!

I've been thinking of changing one of our dinner ADR's to a Cape May ADR. I'm not sure which one I am going to switch out yet but I was wondering how far is Cape May from Coronado Springs Resort when taking the bus? I know sometimes its just faster to walk then wait for the buses to go some places so if anyone can let me know if this is one of those things that would be great. I'm really looking forward to trying the crab legs at Cape May ;)

17 Days!!!

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

16 until we leave. Gotta get finished with work before I can really start to prepare and relax. Only 5 more days with students, then 5 planning days and I'm DONE for the summer!!!

Cape May is at the BC/YC from CSR you would need to go to DTD and catch the bus from there. If you were at DHS or Epcot you could walk or take the boat. From the parks that would be quicker. Its not within walking distance of CSR.

Ok,

This morning, for the first time, I placed our order with the Garden Grocer. From the reviews, I think that they will be right up our alley. :thumbsup2

They are to deliver between 11-1PM. I didn't have to put in the address to the BLT, it was already input. I got everything to the required $40 plus $.08.

I figured that this has to be easier than wasting gas getting to the store, for those small items. Convenience is the name of the game. I think that their prices are a bit lower than the ones that the DVC has available.

Has anyone here ever used them? Others on the boards loves them and another company.

So for now, I think that we are ready on that note. :thumbsup2

We were out celebrating a birthday on Friday night, so we missed our usual Friday Night Disney Movie night. We are making it up tonight by watching Mary Poppins. I didn't know how the kids would like it, but they are eating it up. They haven't looked away from the tv yet. I am glad they like it.

I have a question on hours... it says things like Epcot closes at 9pm, and Illuminations is at 9pm, or that Magic Kingdom closes at 11pm and there is the electrical parade at 11pm. How does this work?

The parade and illuminations coincide with the park closing. You stay until the show is over then leave.:thumbsup2

The attraction lines will close at the posted time. You may get in line right up until the posted closing time, but beyond that you may not. Once the fireworks or parade or whatever is over, the park is closed.

So on June 10 and the 24 you can do 19 hours at the park.

Anyone ever done it?

That would be insane! I hope it would be followed by a resort day!!

So my mom is the worlds most awesome mom/ grandparent and surprised me and DD with two huge buckets filled with old Disney VHS from when I was a kid and there's a ton of really random Disney movies like lion king 1 1/2 and others like Pocahontas and 101 dalmations and hunchback of Notre dam I've been sorting through them all day and making the movies DD hasn't seen yet priority before leaving. We might have to do another slumber party with DC and dgs so we can watch some of these!

Ah! Interesting! I was wondering if the attractions were still open. Thanks for the quick replies!

I got it to work, yeah!!

Less than two weeks away and I am stressing out with all that I have to do with graduation coming up & the party, plus packing for the trip. I need a stress relief pill!:rotfl2:

This week will fly by because we are so busy this week. So once it's over we will be into our trip week. :scared1: I am no where close to ready to go as far as packing and all of that. Y'all pray for me!! The Friday that we leave, I am having a graduation party at my house from 3-5. Graduation is at 7pm and should last for about 2 hours, then we will run by the house & change then hit the road and drive as far as we can. My goal is Lake City, FL. but that's a 5 hour drive from here so we may not make it that far. :sad1: If we got on the road by 9 or 9:30 we may make it. I'm going to drink a 5 hour energy drink when we leave. :lmao:

I am getting excited, but I am getting nervous too.:upsidedow

So, I get that attractions coincide with park closing, but on June 27 & 28 Fantasmic has a showing 30 minutes after park closing. On the 27th there are PM EHM, so I assume the second show is only for those who are onsite guests. On the 28th, however, there aren't EMH, so how does that work, Fantasmic is just 30 minutes after everything else is closed?
