OK, question. I looked at the hours on this calendar and they do not match the hours on the Disney web site. Per the above calendar MK is open until 1 am one night but the Disney calendar shows 10 pm. Which is correct?

Thanks I am counting down the days. 20 days!!

They just updated everything as of 5-13. The Disney website always updates later than the Travel Agency page that is being used. That is the newest revised version.

Question. My mom is coming with us, but flying and we are driving. The first night she has a room only by herself. We got Mickey Mail (Magical Express) for arrival day, but not for departure. We haven't used ME in so long that I forget how it works. Since she is on the package with us for the rest and her departure is under that reservation, will her ME documents for departures come later? I was excited to get Mickey Mail today even though it wasn't for me.... he he he! :goodvibes

They don't really send anything for ME departure, only arrival. I would call and just make sure they show her as having both under her name. You get you departure info at your hotel the morning you leave.

And YAY for Mickey Mail!!!:cool1:

THanks for the quick reply. We always drive so it's just not something I ever think about. This year my mom decided that it was just too much to drive. She decided that she would rather fly so she is leaving us in the dust!

I have a few quick questions. We are driving down from PA and getting to POP on the 20th. We are going to be bringing a cooler with us for drinks and snacks on the drive down. We thought about looking into a fridge while we are there but there are none on the swaps that week. Is it ok for us to use our cooler in the room and keeping ice in it so that we are not "renting" a fridge? Also, I noticed some of you talking about your plans fro each park. Is there a way to organize that in a form or do you just write it down on notebook paper and carry it with you, or do you actually carry a book around with you reading while you go? We've done Disney before but it was through Make-A-Wish and we didn't have to really plan anything just go and do, so this planning part is new to me.
Thanks

Regarding the cooler. We did that last time we went and it worked out ok. It takes up space that you have little of but if you just put fresh ice in it everyday it will keep everything nice and cold. We kept milk, yogurt and our water in it and it was fine.

We've done the cooler on wheels so we'd just wheel it down to the ice machine & fill it up. You can also drain it into the tub if it has the little plug thing on the bottom.
My sis does a sheet of paper with our ADRs and what park has what EMH and just puts scotch tape on it to kind of laminate it.

The Disney Wilderness Preserve

About 20 miles south of Orlando, at the headwaters of the Everglades ecosystem, is The Nature Conservancy's Disney Wilderness Preserve. Here you can observe native plants and animals by hiking a 3-mile trail or taking an offroad buggy tour.

The Preserve is open year-round from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, but closed on Saturdays and Sundays in the summer (June through September). Admission is $3/adult, $2/youth (ages 6-17). Buggy tours are offered on Sundays at 1:30 pm from October-May for $12/adult, $6/youth (ages 6-17).

Has anyone been here? I am finally getting serious about planning out our days. 44 days left to go!!! :yay:

The cooler: I had milk in ours a few years back and mousekeepping even put ice in it one day while we were out!

Planning: I make a excel workbook and bring it.

I'm curious about the photo safari also.

I tried to make reservations for the Pirate League today after they announced the Mermaid makeovers and couldn't get a reservation. :( I'm going to try a walk up and see if that works.

Only 25 more days for us! I am sooo excited! :cool1: I forgot to call Disney about our Mickey Mail today so I guess thats on the agenda for tommorow.

19 more days!!! Super exciting next tine I see a 9 in my days left I'll be in single digits!!

:banana:21 Days until my Disney vacation:banana: I am sooooo excited!!!!

Sunday we had a family meeting to discuss our upcoming trip at my house. We each received our 3D luggage tags and ME tags. I passed out the itinerary for the trip and even showed them the park touring plans that I plan to give to each of them and have a copy laminated for myself. I remember when we initially began planning and how it seemed that our trip was soooo far off, but now it's right around the corner and I still have a few last minute things to do and only 2 paydays to get them all taken care of before the trip :scared1:.
