Arrive 5/31 - 6/11 and staying at CBR. It will be me and my DS celebrating turning 13. We are both so excited :yay::yay::yay:

:welcome: to our new thread. Glad to have you with us. I added your information to our list on page 1.

Chilly pads sound..well..cool! I may get some for the rest of the family; for me, "some like it hot" is my motto! :rotfl: I've never carried a specific park bag and now that most of the kids are teens, I'm looking forward to travelling lighter. The only change of shoes we carry is flip-flops for wet rides. I remember one trip to AK when my DD's sneakers got soaked & started rubbing blisters on her feet & we ran all over the gift shops looking for either shoes or just dry socks!

That's why we love Crocs. They have the holes for water to drain out so your feet don't feel soggy all day.

I agree! When we went to WDW in 2007, I took Capri Crocs, Teva Sandals and tennis shoes. The only time my feet didn't hurt was when I wore the Crocs. They are awesome for comfort and quick drying too:thumbsup2

I was scrolling through to post our details when I saw that my Daughter in Law (would that be DDIL? lol) already posted them! But I will add it anyway.

We will be at POP from June 12 - 18. LittleAngie is already listed; she beat me! lol.

Hey, BigDaddy! of course all are welcome. It's so cool that your whole family is excited about the trip! My dad doesn't even know sites like this exist! Of course, he also doesn't have a computer:surfweb:

Welcome! It's okay that she beat you two it. At least you know someone else is excited about the vacation too. :thumbsup2

Just got a pin in the mail for 35%-40% off which is awesome, except it doesn't include any dates in the summer of course. Why can't they ever have pity on the poor people that can only go during the summer?

We got one two weeks ago and even considered changing our dates. Called CRO and everything, only to learn that the email was directed to my MIL even though it went to my DH's email. I was completely bummed. Our first ever pin and it was to my stinkin' MIL.

I'm thinking of planning a mini vacation for our anniversary. My husband is not against it, but wants to leave the kids at home. I don't know how I feel about that. I think it would make me sad to not have the kids with us in Disney.

So excited! My inlaw's 50th wedding anniversary is this July....well.....they decided to take the whole family on a cruise! So this is going to be a busy summer...a week at Disney in June and then a week on NCL Spirit in July. What a summer!

I'm already planning our 10th anniversary for 2013 (the next time we'd be going). It will be F&W because it's October and I'm dying to go to Disney without the kids!! LOL I think it would be tons of fun!

Our 10th is in 2012 and we had already planned on going for that. It's in November. We went for our honeymoon so we thought that it would be nice to go back at the same time 10 years later. We thought maybe we'd go a year early. LOL. I'm always trying to find/invent reasons to go to Disney. :rotfl:

I'm a newbie to the whole Disney experience. My DH, DD9 and DD5 and I are going to go for a week from June 11th til June 18th. We are going to stay in a townhouse at Windsor hills. The girls got their tickets for xmas and now it is starting to become more real to them. I even placed our ADR for Akershus at 8:10am on Monday th 13th. I hope this will help us see Epcot early without too many crowds. I also hope that touringplans.com was right about Epcot being the best park to visit on that day!
I really like this site. so many people post things that I wanted to ask and then don't have to!

Disney fever is taking ahold of me:cool1: which is a good thing since it is so darn cold up here in Ohio!! :rotfl:

As long as you get to take the kids on their own trip, I think it sounds fun. I always think of Disney as with the kids. But there is always that little part of me that thinks of the fun just my hubby and I could have if it was just us! I say go as much as possible. :thumbsup2

My wife and I went without our little/big ones our first trip to Disney. I am the husband so I never felt guilty about going as a couple.. My wife on the other hand drove me crazy with.. "wish the kids were here" stuff. We had a great time! It is a totally different relaxed experience.. I think that everyone should do it.. :cool1:

We'll celebrate 10 years on Nov. 2012. Perhaps I should start planning that trip, too. I can't imagine leaving my kids behind, though. I think they'll make any anniversary trip we take that much more special.

This is a neat thread - kind of overwhelming.

I have a conference in Orlando and decided to make an excuse to take my dd9 to the world again. We weren't planning to return until 2012 when my husband has said he'll consent to taking the twins.

June 8 - 18. We rented points to stay at AKV-Kidani studio savannah view.

ADRs:

June 8 CP 6:45
June 9 Tusker House 1 pm
June 11 Teppan Edo 6:30
June 12 Jiko 7:05
June 14 Boma 7
June 16 Spirit of Aloha 5:15
June 17 Liberty Tree Tavern 7

I am super excited. The days just can't go fast enough - I'm sure y'all feel the same way.

I am apprehensive about the heat and the crowds but hopeful that we can have a great time anyway.

The plan now is to go the the parks from 9 - noon or 1 then back to the hotel to swim and rest and go back for the pms.

Please can u add me to the list? :)

8th - 29th June @ Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando

Thanks.

CAN'T WAIT!!!
