Chilly pads sound..well..cool! I may get some for the rest of the family; for me, "some like it hot" is my motto!I've never carried a specific park bag and now that most of the kids are teens, I'm looking forward to travelling lighter. The only change of shoes we carry is flip-flops for wet rides. I remember one trip to AK when my DD's sneakers got soaked & started rubbing blisters on her feet & we ran all over the gift shops looking for either shoes or just dry socks!
That's why we love Crocs. They have the holes for water to drain out so your feet don't feel soggy all day.
I was scrolling through to post our details when I saw that my Daughter in Law (would that be DDIL? lol) already posted them! But I will add it anyway.
We will be at POP from June 12 - 18. LittleAngie is already listed; she beat me! lol.
I'm thinking of planning a mini vacation for our anniversary. My husband is not against it, but wants to leave the kids at home. I don't know how I feel about that. I think it would make me sad to not have the kids with us in Disney.
I'm already planning our 10th anniversary for 2013 (the next time we'd be going). It will be F&W because it's October and I'm dying to go to Disney without the kids!! LOL I think it would be tons of fun!
I'm a newbie to the whole Disney experience. My DH, DD9 and DD5 and I are going to go for a week from June 11th til June 18th. We are going to stay in a townhouse at Windsor hills. The girls got their tickets for xmas and now it is starting to become more real to them. I even placed our ADR for Akershus at 8:10am on Monday th 13th. I hope this will help us see Epcot early without too many crowds. I also hope that touringplans.com was right about Epcot being the best park to visit on that day!
I really like this site. so many people post things that I wanted to ask and then don't have to!
Disney fever is taking ahold of mewhich is a good thing since it is so darn cold up here in Ohio!!

As long as you get to take the kids on their own trip, I think it sounds fun. I always think of Disney as with the kids. But there is always that little part of me that thinks of the fun just my hubby and I could have if it was just us! I say go as much as possible.![]()
We'll celebrate 10 years on Nov. 2012. Perhaps I should start planning that trip, too. I can't imagine leaving my kids behind, though. I think they'll make any anniversary trip we take that much more special.
