Yes, they have lifejackets and towels. No, you can't go down with your child. The quiet pool is deeper than the big pool--I think 3.5 feet(?) across. There are steps to get in. There is no zero-entry. HTH

There is a new splash pad, though, that you DD might enjoy.

Yep...there are 2 sets of locks and one of them is high toward the top of the door.

we're going back!!!

We just spent 5 nights at the Contemporary (Dec 13 - 18).

While we were there, we decided that we've been going to WDW enough that it made sense to upgrade to annual passes. So the plan for 2010 is to go for a couple of long weekends here and there.

Then I found out there was an annual pass deal for 45% off deluxe through early Feb.

We loved the Contemporay so much and that deal can't be beat. So we just booked to return!!! Jan 29 to Feb 1. Yeah!! I'm so excited.

We got back earlier this week from Disney. We stayed at a deluxe for the first time (Boardwalk) & enjoyed it so much we decided to try another for our next trip since we got the 40% off bounceback. So, in Sept, we will be going to the Contemporary! I'm pretty excited, but my mom isn't 100% sure. I'm sure I'll be reading through this thread to find all the answers to her questions.

Thanks for your review, pjimmeyer! glad you had a great trip! Can I ask what kind of a deposit you have to put down for a bounceback? And once you book a bounceback, can you change the dates at a later time as long as it falls within the alotted dates?

When we booked our bounceback, we asked the same question, & she told us as long as there is availability, you can change the dates.

I did finally finish just before the clock struck twelve on Christmas morning! And guess what was her favorite present? The Contemporary playset with the monorail running through it! It is so cool! I can look at it every day now and get excited for our trip! Christmas was wonderful...how about you?

After hearing all the comments and CR Resort's trip report it is making us look forward to our trip even more. The only thing that could possibly make it better would be if a MK view room opened up.

Thanks for the gorgeous photos! I can't wait to see this for myself, and CRRFFL, you are right, before I know it, it will be single digits for me! I made a chart with my DD when there was over 100 days to go, and now we're down to 57. I love taking the mickey heads down every day and then she writes down the number of days left. I can't wait for January 1, because then I can say, "next month I will be at WDW!". I went on ********** today because one of our fellow dis'ers has a live stream from his TPV room. It has been so much fun living vicariously through him while listening to the ferries and the train go by. And you can even see part of the BLT to the right of the screen! I can't wait to watch Wishes live at ten! Have a great night everyone!
