So I guess it would be like the few DVC logo items I have seen for sale at the Boardwalk.

I've never noticed what is sold at BW but my guess is yes. Things like jackets, polo shirts, mugs, glasses, key chains.

Less than 48 hours, and I'll be at CR

I'm not going to promise pictures, because I know how bad I am about that...just ask my husband who has been waiting for photo albums from our last 3 or 4 trips... It's just not one of my strong points, what can I say.

Anyhoo...

I will pay attention to the pool area and try to get "the scoop" about what exactly is going there (splash area/landscaping/??), and we generally do quite a few CS meals (mostly breakfast) at the resort, so I'm hoping to add onto that Contempo "confirmed snacks" list over on the restaurant board.

We're booked in the garden wing, and I made no special room requests. Last time we were upgraded to the tower, which would be great but we're certainly not counting on it. We're renting a car, so if the buses become an issue, we have a back-up. And we have an ADR for dinner at the Wave one night, so I'll be sure to post about that as well.

That's about it for now - any other requests for info, fire away and I'll do my best. Have to go finish packing...

Here's hoping for a swine flu-less, bed bug free trip.

I would love to have a room where we could see the castle from the bed like others here have mentioned. Does anyone know how to get this? You would need to request rooms with odd numbers, so good luck with the request and have a great time staying at the Contemporary.

My wife, Dina and I both love the Contemporary. It has become as much of our trips to WDW as any of the parks.
I started the site, just to have a record of the different parts of the resort that we have been able to see. Especially with the many changes that take place through the years. The site has grown into a litle bit more.

I'm glad you like the pool loop. We had a lot of fun putting it together over the course of a few trips. I should specify that we always sit at the Bay Pool, not the main pool. Sometimes, the two pools have different loops.
Once, they were even playing the lobby jazz music at the Bay Pool. But, over the past few years, I have grown to really love and expect the music at the pool, that I decided to make sure I always have it available.

I look forward to chatting with you guys!

Yes, there's one to use at Contempo Cafe and you can also request one for your room (they have a limited amount available). HTH!
