OK. We have finally settled when we get to go to Disneyworld!
We are going in 2012 (May) to celebrate my daughters fifth bday! Because we won't be visiting long (just two full days maybe one more) we have decided that we will be going to just Epcot and the Magic Kingdom and because of
that we want a hotel on the monorail line.
Hubby and I have narrowed it down to Contemporary... but he is quite nervous that it's going to be noisy with the monorails gliding through the resort. I told him most people on here haven't really commented on the noise but I mentioned if we get a garden wing room he won't have to worry about it.
I know that it can be pretty difficult to get a GW room and I'm not sure if they are ever part of the 40% discounts and if not I'd get the BLV room.
So I was hoping someone cound answer some of my questions...
If I get into the tower what floors are best for avoiding monorail and restaurant noises?
If we do get a GW room, I'd like to avoid the laundry area and elevators... and would like to know what to request.
And do they offer 40% off on GW rooms?
Thanks so much! I hope I get to be a CR expert myself soon!
