Unfortunately no pin code, however, we came into some extra money so DH thought why not spend it in our Happy Place :goodvibes. I didn't think we were going to be going back (after our March trip) until May 2011, my sneaky little DH had other plans of his own....gotta love the man

As for not telling the girls, oh yes, I know it will be hard, but I am determined to keep this a secret. The look on their faces will be so priceless, DH and I will just have to talk about Disney in code :rotfl:. Seven months isn't too long to keep my mouth shut is it????:rolleyes1

Seven MONTHS? Try seven MINUTES for my mouth:hyper2::laughing:

If you do get a pin or a public promo is announced for your dates, don't forget you can call the WDTC and try and have them apply it to your reservation:)

You should try and take pictures or film their reactions when they find out the news.

My daughter and I are taking our annual trek to see the Mouse June 2 - 9!!:woohoo:(only 3 months to go!!!) This is the first time we will be staying in the tower, Magic Kingdom view. When I booked, I was told the reservation was for concierge level. When I look at my reservations on-line, they say: 2 bedroom villa, Magic Kingdom View. My question is, what floor is that on? We are SUPER excited!!! party:and just wondering what we can expect as far as accomodations are concerned!!! Thanks for this thread and all the good info I have learned about my resort! :goodvibes

We didn't use CR's pool on our last visit, but I can tell you we really enjoyed the BLT pool. It was so hot -- we swam every single day, sometimes twice a day. The 3 kids in our group (and the adults, too) thought the Mickey slide was fast and fun, and we liked that there is a zero-entry side of the pool. It was deep enough for adults in the center, too -- that's something we feel is missing at some of the other resort pools (not sure how deep CR's pool goes; it's been a while since we used it).

There were games by the pool every afternoon (kids loved them), and you can refill your mug at the bar there.

Also, it was never overly crowded, and we really appreciated that!

Good to know about refilling the mugs there :thumbsup2

Can I watch tv in bed? I looked at the pictures on page 1 and I couldn't figure out where the tv was.
thanks

Here is a picture of the tv...ignore my husband in the picture...the beds are on the opposite wall.

How long does it take to get back from MK to the Cont. either by monorail or walking?

I'm wondering if it would be easier to leave the park for some CS meals since we are going at such a busy time (week before easter)? Or would it just be a waste of time.

During peak attendance periods, the trip on the monorail will always be longer than the walkway.

The walkway from the MK to the CR will take no more than 10 mins. and it's never full and you never have to wait for it. With the monorail from the MK to the CR, you might have to wait for it to arrive and hope that it isn't full, then it's only about a 2 min. ride at that point.

On the monorail you do have 3 QS choices, but keep in mind that if the parks are full, the resorts tend to be full, too. But I think it's worth a try since it's an adventure in itself to go to the Deluxe Resorts and also taking the walkway and the monorail is lots of fun, too:)

Edited to add: You can also stop at the CR and then take the boat to the QS at the WL or even to FTW.

Walking will always be about 10 minutes, however with the Monorail it depends on how long the line is and if it has to stop along the track for traffic clearence. So in my opinion walking will always be faster.

It's not a 2 Bedroom Villa and I can tell you my family and I noticed the same thing on a previous reservation. Originally for our reservation in August 2009 we had reserved the Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View, however when I looked online it also said we had a 2 Bedroom Villa. Although on our confirmation which was e-mailed to us that said our reservation was for a Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View and when I called CRO they said the same thing. So back then it was a problem with the website and it still is today.

So I should be expecting an Atrium Level room? Is it a standard room? I hate to sound really dumb, but I was just wondering! :confused3 From what I can gather, it seems everyone likes Atrium level rooms. And as far as the safari is concerned, is it worth it? If so, then I need to book it soon! Thanks for the advice! :goodvibes

All of the standard (non-suite/non-deluxe) rooms throughout the CR are exactly the same. The rooms on the 14th floor/Tower Club level are the most expensive and they are styled and configured differently. But, if you booked Atrium Club/12th floor, then your room will look and be configured exactly the same way as all of the non-club level std. rooms.

Have you received your e-mailed confirmation yet from Disney Destinations? We always receive ours usually within a few hours of booking with the WDTC. However, sometimes others have reported that it took over 24 hours to receive the e-mail.

Yes you should be expecting a room on the Atrium Club 12th floor and if you check the confirmation which they e-mailed you, it will say if you made a reservation for the Magic Kingdom View or Bay Lake View on that specific floor.

Yes anyone staying at Bay Lake Tower can use the Contemporary pool if they want to.

Now I am not sure if the Bay Lake Tower pool is better since my family and I have not stayed there, so hopefully someone else will be able to answer that.

Good to know! Thank you!

Excellent, thanks for the feedback!

Ok, I've never stayed at CR but I have dined there a few times and it was definitely QUICK to walk to MK. I highly recommend it!

Hi!! I am new to this thread, we are very excited to be staying at BLT for 3 nights in April!! (doing a split stay w/ POLY!) We have a SV studio booked. It is me, DH, DS(5) & DD(will be 18months). I will need the pack n play for DD, so I am thinking that we won't be able to use the pull-out couch @ night. Based on the pictures the only place for the pack & play will right in front of the closed couch, right?
We are just so excited to be going, I can't wait:banana:
This is our first trip to Disney!
OH, on our reservation next to standard view it had a - 4 w- is that how many of us will be staying in the room??
Thanks! Nicole

I did a surprise trip last year for my DS and kept it quiet for 7 months. Hardest thing I ever did but it was SO worth it!!!! Good luck! :wizard:

Disneyfreak42---we'll be there with you on the 12th floor! We're there 6/5-6/10. See you there!:cool1:
