hello everyone - this is my first post after doing lots of reading and looking at pictures

my question is basically about the size of CR rooms vs other resorts that will hold/fit 5 people plus an infant under 3.
I have a family of 2 adults and 4 kids (ages 7, 5, 3, 1) and the main "issue" is that I have a double stroller and extra clothes/diapers that comes with a baby

I am knowledgeable with the "moderate" resorts sizes and would like to know if the cost difference (approx $800) is worth it to stay at CR instead of Port Orleans Riverside?

On the flip side would it be worth a $250 difference to stay at CR instead of AS Music Family Suite?

Well your child who is 1 year old won't count towards the total amount of people in your room. Besides that the Contemporary rooms are among the biggest of the Deluxe Resorts and will have a lot of room for your family. Besides that given their location to the Magic Kingdom with the walkway that goes there and the Resort Monorail access, I would say it's worth it over the All Star Music Family Suite and Port Orleans Riverside.

We are renting points at BLT, we have reservations for a Lake View Studio. Are there certain rooms that are better than others? Also, is there a hairdryer in the bathroom (would like to leave mine at home This is our first time staying at BLT, TIA for your help!!

Not too sure about whether there's a hairdryer in the bathroom, sorry.

Yes there is a hair dryer in the studio. We were there in March and did find one in the very nice bathroom. Enjoy your stay.

How strong is the hair dryer? I have very long, thick hair that usually means I can't use the hotel dryers because they take for.ev.er.

Well my guess is the Contemporary is sold out with the room only discount, because they might have rooms available at the rack rate. Although maybe there is a convention happening during your dates which is a reason why. As for Bay Lake Tower once again I guess they could be sold out rooms with the discount, although maybe a lot of other DVC members are also staying there. I guess you can always keep looking online or calling to see if rooms become available, so you just got to be lucky.

Hi everyone.

I'm only 7 days away from arriving at the CR and I'm so excited! I've been looking at pool pictures and trying to remember from the last time I was there but is there a kiddie pool? I have a 20 month old who LOVES water!

I'm a little concerned about crowds (I looked today and no rooms available at any Deluxe - I was hoping to upgrade my Garden room to a Tower room) but oh well, hopefully it won't be terrible.

Your best chance is if you can call the actual resort, not the call center. I have a book at home that has all the phone numbers in it that actually ring at the front desk of the resort.

Well unlike regular hotels like Hampton Inn, Courtyard By Marriott and etc, the WDW Resorts don't take reservations at their front desks. So the only options are to call the Disney Reservation Center or booking online with the WDW website.
