That's just him trying to show that he's his own man now, all young men go through a stage where they start being mouthy and arguing everything that's said to him no matter the conversation. I call it...."The cutting of the apron strings." Your situation might be a bit different since he's been away for a while, but a lot of young men come back around to being the sweet "little boys," we once knew them to be once they know your not trying to force them into being that little boy they once were at home. I wonder how many of the guys on here would admit to this.
I know you're right, Camille!! And apparently none are going on that limb of admitting.
What a wonderful son you have raised!!!

He sounds like a great kid! Congratulations!
So far things are going great! He is a winner for sure- but the next 3-5 years will really show what he's made of.
Liessa I got pix uploaded today !~!
This one's for you!!
We were all thrilled to see that the Smithsonian included Dumbo!!!
Awesome for learning how to upload, Rosie!! Thanks for one more picture of that cute little flying elephant. I wish they had made them all pigs though. Then maybe I'd be able to say running a 5K was easy.
Only two updates behind this time, I'm getting better.
Fun camper, I foresee some fun times at the campgrounds near a mouses house.

Oh wow, getting one settled for college. I bet it makes you feel good having family so close though.
Can't wait to read the next update
I am getting them up WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy slower than I had ever hoped. But this whole moving back thing (and now moving again!) is kicking my hiney.
Yes!! I hope someday, our little camper will get us to Trail's End again.
Having family IS great! I just wish it was MY family too. Mine are all back in Kentucky and DC- so I don't get to see them nearly as much as I"d like!!
Hello all!
I'm here updating for Liesa since it's Sunday and she's not suppose to be on the computer.
Liesa did her Ho Ho 5K today and survived!!
She's very sore but alive and Santa is very proud!!
Be sure to tune in tomorrow for great pictures and stories of fun times and disastrous equipment failures.
Hope y'all are well. I think I out did myself on shopping today. Hopefully I won't have to shop again until I need to get all our goodies for Christmas dinner.
Thanks for posting for me, Camille!!!
I coulda sat on Santa's lap, but I"ll leave that cheeky stuff to Rosie!!
Me too, Camille!! Done! with shopping until the food for the 2 holiday dinners.
Liesa, well done!! Congratulations on your second 5k!!

Disastrous equipment failure - that reminds of the time I went hiking with my father and half way through the hike, the sole of my walking boot started to become seperate from the boot... I walked the last 2 miles with a sole that was only attached with some strings to the boot. Very unpleasant!
As you can see, mine was also a sole delamination issue (among other worse things). That really stunk, and I had a mini- panic attack before I realized I could use Bek's shoes.
Congratulations on the second 5k!!!! I need to get back into running and get into my FIRST still.
YOU CAN DO IT!!!! GO! GO! GO!!!
Liesa, I HATE being so far behind. You are the last (and I saved the "best" for last--just don't tell Marv) report I have to catch up on. There are just too many things for me to comment on and so I'll just do a few.
I love the photos of you and DH with your medals from the Marathon -- EXCELLENT!
The photos with Andrew at the university brought back many memories of when we took our second son to college and left him at that dorm. I'll never forget him looking at his dad as I'm crying my eyes out and asking his dad, "what do I do." And Mark says, "nothing...just let her go at it and get it out of her system...she's a mom."
Love the camping pictures too.
Hi Kathy!! Glad you saved the best for last

I know I am only able to hit some quick comments on the ones I'm reading now too- so no worries!!
Now, you have 2 races to read about!

I actually thought of you some when I did that update about Andrew going to school. Kind of bittersweet in so many ways. Mom's don't change the world around, do they?
Yes! We make the houses ahead of time. I don't know why I didn't think of it years ago.
Nor have I. I wish my husband liked to talk more, but I know its just not in their (most of them, anyway) natures. That's what girlfriends are for!
JUST finished putting the houses together. Tomorrow we'll do the candy/decorating at 11:00. Problem? I took ALL the candy down to Salem in my baking bags, so need to run out tomorrow first thing and buy all new!

What an idiot!! Anyway, the houses look GREAT!!! My girls could be architects, easy!
Talking? Forget it. Ain't gonna happen. I love my phone- call anytime!
