Hi - Behind again, but I wanted to invite you all to my cruise report - sailing to jamaica and comparing RCCL to DCL - Join me if you Dare! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=38708391#post38708391
Yes!! I will definitely be over to check it out tonight!! Thanks for the heads up!
Liesa, hope all of your busy weekend went smoothly! I'm sure you did great with your talk. Can't wait to hear all about it and see the pics of the weekend events!
It did. These kinds of things always go smoother than you think they're going to. Funny, how you can prepare to say the same thing for for both services, but what comes out is completely different.

Liesa,
Those gowns are just lovely! Was your ball this weekend? How did it go?
I love to sew I used to when my kids were much younger. I loved to make my DD Christmas dresses I saved everyone. I wish I had more time to sew, but the kids are so busy I have no time.
Wendy
Hiya Wendy!
Thanks! The ball was incredible!! So. much. fun!! My favorite thing I ever made was a pilgrim I may do that again this year for Anara.
The next ball is a Christmas themed ball, so I think rather than sew right up until 10 minutes before we left this time, I'll start those costumes now. It's a great way to teach the girls to sew!

Hi Liesa, those gowns are very pretty! I hope your presentation yesterday was well received! I hope life will be a bit easier for you this week.![]()
It was very well received, if a standing ovation is any indication of how things went...

Morning Liesa I am trying to keep up with all my threads to day , Have been sooo busy with work since I got back!!
I haven't been on my other threads for a few days- I cringe to think of how far behind I am.
Liesa, I hope the events went well this weekend. I am sure you did great with your talk/presentation.
THey went very well! I can't wait for the next ball in a few months!! And VERY glad the in-front-of-the-church thing is over!
I confess, the words "invisible zipper" make my skin crawl. Just when I think I might get inspired to sew again, words like that remind me that I really don't have the patience to do it right. I hope many pictures were taken, joyous times were had and you danced your feet off.
no nuts. Bleh.
And if it makes you feel better, I went to bed at 9:15 on Saturday night, utterly worn out and slept for 11 hours.
Really??! I totally would have pegged you as a walnuts in baked goods kinda gal.
I actually got sick last night- I think it's the flu after a stressful week illness. I went to bed at 3:00 in the afternoon, and didn't get up until about 3:00 this afternoon. Achy, fever, yucky stuff.
My feet were aching about an hour into the ball though.
