Oh you have become quite the star. I can say I knew you when....

I'm still trying to break into Hollywood, you make it looks so easy.

Well, I admit, I had to pay a few bribes along the way- $278 or something went directly to the executive producers (at the gate), and another few hundred for preferred housing. It was very worth it! :thumbsup2;)

What a fun glittery update! May i have your autograph?:goodvibes

Hope the slumber party is going well. My boys never had a slumber party here, they always went to other peoples houses, i'm no dumby!;)
Honestly though the girls are sooooooooo squeely.:scared1: And they always wanted to have girls here. :upsidedow

Hey Kim!!

The boys just plugged in a movie, so I am going to sit and upload some photos for the next chapter. Hooray!!

They have done very well- the volume is deafening- when they are in the house. They spent most of the day outside (we have miraculous weather today; it's NOT raining! :scared1::banana:) playing Nerf gun wars, playing with the dog and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit.

My girls want to have a Pride and Prejudice weekend soon, so I suppose I'll have to join in the crooning over Colin Firth along with them. ;)

Slumber Parties:scared1:The girls had 2 friends over for the night and neither I or them did much slumbering !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Ooooh Rosie, You are getting very good at posting on the sly!! Glad you are getting some down time!

Yes, I imagine we won't be getting much sleep, but that means they'll sleep in extra long------ and that means more banana/ choco chip pancakes for me!!!

Gangsta, baby!! But, I have to tell ya, the jokes are getting a bit old and stale. The whole ride needs to be updated and refreshed. I say take out the Alien scene and completely replace it- maybe with King Kong or something.

I agree! I don't mind the older movies they show in there, but it just needs to be freshened up completely. The Alien scene is WAY too freaky when the rest is fun, parents always have to distract their kiddos. King Kong would be AWESOME.

We have always gotten the gangster, I really want the cowboy. I might ask for it this trip!

Good Morning Liessa it's SLY Rosie again!!Was up late last night as I had to do my overnight check, it's a new overnight staff , who has worked relief for a while and she is awesome , we mainly chatted and Disney was a BIG Topic !!!:rotfl2:

Loved it! Great post. :)

That's what I'm saying! Too intense, and really too obscure. I never considered Alien to be a "classic" at all, and wonder if they just threw it in there for shock factor?

I've actually had both; the one time in my 2008 trip, I really wanted to see both sides, so asked for the Western side. We had to wait 2 more cars, which ended up being about 15-20 extra minutes, and I can say that although fun and different, I'm not sure I'd do it again. Once was plenty. The set is different (obviously) so that might worth a look-see.

Hi Rosie!!

Glad you are able to find Disney as a way to talk and pass the time!! That's great to have something in common with a co-worker! :thumbsup2

Ugh! So very far behind!

Will do my best to catch up quickly! ::yes::

Kathy

Hi kathy! I hadn't even realized The Spectrum Moms had started their TR until last night- so we are even. Enjoy catching up. :goodvibes

You got more for you money than I did....or really know how to work your paparazzi.

Then again, there is rarely a picture of the executive producer.

Oh I want a P&P weekend! We had one about 2 months ago at my sisters but I feel the need for another one.

Motion carried- Count me in. My DS will only go on IASW if we can shoot the dolls.:rotfl2:

I think it might be just as entertaining if we could choose our own soundtrack for our voyages. Just think, Dire Straight's Industrial Disease playing!! :lmao:

well, as a sneak preview in just about an hour, I'll have a picture of the founder of my studio!

Yes!! You could join our merry party here at Lincoln Landing! Shall I send my barouche??

Well Jeff WILL be out of town next Sunday but I'm not sure how into it the E's would be.

:rotfl:

Dire Straits huh?

I'm going to have to think of my own soundtrack now, though Dances with Wolves did play in my mind during the Ranger Joe tour.

Phew! What a day it’s already been!! I’ve danced with Gene, had voice lessons with Ariel, animated with Mike somebody-or-rather, shopped with a washed up star who really knew how to pick her produce, and visited a rather exhilarating hotel with plenty of thrills. Now it was time to sit back and relax, and enjoy all the benefits my hard work had earned me. Some down time was exactly what I needed, and yet… I had a writhing feeling that more lessons on becoming a star were soon to follow!

Somebody had suggested I name my first feature film The Life and Times of Albrecht Durer, and as I passed this little squatting still-life, I thought, YES! I just may have to do that! And yet, playing a transgender role seemed a bit difficult for me so early in my career. (So for now, I’ll leave that up to Tate.)

Pressing further on in my explorations of Hollywoodland, I came across a wharf in which fine yachts were docked for immediate sailing to exotic tropical islands where fountains of youth were waiting to be swum (swam?) (swimmed?) in.

LiesaDay1178.jpg

I, of course, booked a ticket immediately, and was whisked away for a 3-hour tour, a 3-hour tour. This was a really high-end sailing company where there was some very fine eating!

See!

LiesaDay1177.jpg

I’ll bet you are wondering about the other clientele of this reputable cruise company! Take a look at the guest list that I sailed with:

At last, after some slightly stormy weather that was almost disastrous, we made our way back to shore as I had a few minor star-ish details to attend to. I found a one- stop shop for both my teeth whitening AND a quick hairdo. How convienient!

LiesaDay1183.jpg

Well, life as a starlet isn’t ALL hard work of lessons, and makeup calls and getting our teeth whitened; once in a while we actually stop to smell the roses. Or take pictures of the I-don’t-know-the-name-of-this-flower-flowers, and drink in the beautiful blue of the Hollywoodland skies.

LiesaDay1186.jpg

Suddenly, I spied this billboard, that reminded me it was time to call for my limo to take me to some last minute places I needed to visit.

LiesaDay1187.jpg

Outracing the Paparazzi, (they can be utterly relentless!) he arrived very quickly and safely delivered me to the Academy of TV Arts and Sciences.

LiesaDay1193.jpg

The Upper Mickey Mucks needed me to carefully review the layout of the garden of busts, and choose where I’d like to place mine. Would it be next to the Loooooooooooooooooong standing Diva of both Broadway AND TV AND the Silver Screen, one of my all-time favorites, Angela Lansbury;

LiesaDay1194.jpg

or would it be next to Andy;

LiesaDay1196.jpg

or perhaps would I like to be set next to Walt- then quintessential entertainer of all time?

LiesaDay1197.jpg

I told them I needed time to think on this, and would have to get back to them soon.

After this important appointment, I had to start making my way toward the capstone of my day, but on the way, I ran into the oddest piece of modern art I’ve ever encountered! Take a look:

LiesaDay1191.jpg

It’s a giant blue hat with an enormous white glove picking its nose! Huh!

While still pondering this oddity, I entered an exotic place that must be only reserved for celebrities with some serious thrill issues. Yep, just as I suspected, a few more lessons in how to be a real star were needed to complete my training. First, take a look at this area!

LiesaDay1200.jpg

LiesaDay1204.jpg

LiesaDay1205.jpg

Wild, eh?

Yeah, wild, but hey, I think I could really get to enjoy this place! Instead of tailgate parties, they have Hoodie Parties, unlimited supplies of Coke, and apparently, they even encourage you to BREAK the rules!! Sounds like a pretty out of control place, so I thought I’d really get into character and try out some new forms of “nature interpretation” I’d been working on recently. Maybe Animal Planet can use someone with my skills?

LiesaDay1201.jpg

Just then I got a phone call!!! It was a REAL studio! They wanted me to sign a multi-zillion dollar contract right away!! I couldn’t believe it; in fact, I still can’t believe that when I read the fine print, it was “MarOOn Studios” not “Moron Studios” as I thought at first. (Trust me, it was funny when standing there the first time, trying to figure out why anyone would name their company “Moron Studios”.) Whatever, the name didn’t matter so much, as I really was so excited to finally be a real star for a day! My dreams were coming true today, and I was feeling GREAT!!

LiesaDay1208.jpg

So great in fact, that I decided to stay in Hollywoodland indefinitely (at least for a few more hours) and start a search for a large-ish mansion in the hills. I got a quick shot of my realtor’s office, in case you ever need one there. Just tell Mr.’s Holly and Vermont that “7” sent ya.

LiesaDay1212.jpg

So, with those very important businesses taken care of, it was time for Jeeves to drive on to my next destination; I hope you’ll come along with me on my sweet ending to my star-studded day!

Oh boy, Capt. O set that one up nicely for you, didn't he? It's a good thing all of your faithful readers know who Albrecht Durer was.

Wait a second. Haven't we had enough of your bust for one TR? :rotfl2:

So...did you pull the rope?

Nice update!

Just popping in again to say I'm enjoying these sooo much! You're making me smile, it's a wonderful gift, hon. :goodvibes
