The ABC's of Trip Planning, Pt 1- K is for Keeping Things Kooky- Drinks V-Z; pg. 197 + New Link

So excited for you!! All those ADR's!!! Looks amazing!! I suck at contests so not going there lol but I'm glad you got so many good ressies!! Makes me want to go check out some menus...I love doing that lol. Have not seen Yeehaw Bob...but sounds like a lot of fun too!!

My kids did a lot of this work. I'm so proud of them. As I was tucking Thing 5 in last night she said, "Momma, if you're working in the garden again tomorrow, I'll help you."

I promptly took her temperature and diagnosed Kid-Gone-Nuts.

So awesome. My dd seems to be getting the garden bug, too. She helped a little over the weekend, and some tonight, too, weeding. I can only hope it lasts!

I was especially impressed you managed to start seeds this year. I've skipped it the last couple years, and am just doing direct seeds plus buying a few tomato and pepper plants. I do miss my purple cabbage, however. I make an awesome blue cheese slaw with it.

Wow, you got a lot of great ADR's! I want to do that tour some of these days.

Your garden looks great! I need to plant mine once it stops snowing. The 2 feet we got last week finally melted off yesterday.

10/14- NO FF (Here is the NEW PLAN for my BIRTHDAY DINNER... Because of a time crunch with Pat and Marv's arrival that evening, we came up with the idea of hitting up Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club at 6:40, so that they don't have too far to go. I made the ressie for 10 people, so plenty of room to still join. So far, it's me, my 2 kids, Pat, Marv and Tanya. (IF FF opens up, and I'm still hoping it does, I will change over to there!) Afterwards, we'll all head on over to the Yeehaw Bob 9:30 show where Rosie and Gang will meet up with us. It'll be quite a party!!
I checked Yehaa Bob's site again and the October schedule still isn't out. All of his shows leading up to that start at 8:30, but run (pretty much) continuously until 11:45, and people float in and out, so shouldn't be a problem.

FYI- I also was having her try for a Yak and Yeti and Skipper's Cantina, but those were last minute and I didn't mention them or put them in the contest. LO AND BEHOLD! She could get NEITHER ONE! Skipper's, we suspect, is going to walk ups only, at least at lunch, and she has NO idea what's going on with the Yak It Up.
Is Yak and Yeti going to be a part of some Rivers of Light package? If so, maybe they are holding some things back for that reason??? :confused3 Always enjoyed my meals there, and it IS an amazingly popular place, but there also seems to be walk-ups available also.

Also got Seeds Tour booked.
This is on my list of wannado's......

And like I say, tons of points, to 10 in this round, won't make a difference. I imagine it'll only affect 3 or so folks. (That was a public service announcement for the ummm..... more competitive of my lot here. ;) ).
I bet THAT made Rosie feel a little better. :thumbsup2

Just quickly...

I totally forgot to add the plan for the 19th!! I will update that soon- hopefully tonight! There is a plan, though; I think you'll like it!!!
:scratchin popcorn::

No wonder you were anticipating a back-breaking effort..........look at all those WEEDS! :faint:

Someone (Marv, Pat) please tell Yeehaa Bob that it's Liesa's birthday!!
You REALLY think one of us would pull a fast one like that.............on poor sweet Liesa??? :sad2: Now ROSIE on the other hand........... :rolleyes1

No. No, no, NO, No. Just no. However, if they were to happen to mention my Graduation.... :rolleyes1
Beggars can't be choosers. :rolleyes2

4 down, 8 to go.
Zipping right along.......... :crutches: :tiptoe:

If I remember, tomatoes are on your no-go list. IF so, yeah, lasagna probably isn't for you.

They are but usually in threes. I can do 1 night ( via Napoli pizza ) I can get away with a 2nd night ( maybe a salad with tomatoes) but if I indulge again on night 3..... :crazy2: However large does like in lasagna is mostly like a double dose.

Spring is here and I'm anxious to get my hands in the dirt and grow some stuffs. I'll be on as I can and check my phone. :)

I have been busy too but with plants and fescue. Trying to get a good lawn back is tiring.

Someone (Marv, Pat) please tell Yeehaa Bob that it's Liesa's birthday!!

:rolleyes1 Hmmmmmmm

No. No, no, NO, No. Just no. However, if they were to happen to mention my Graduation.... :rolleyes1

We shall see how it all plays out...... :p

I was amazed I had 10 points !!! :rotfl2:

We will get there early to see if we can get seats , you will need to keep us informed of your arrival time !!!

Rolly bags are hands down the way to go. These gems should make traversing the length of any airport a breeze. And you KNOW we'll be doing that at least 6 times. Furthest gate. Every airport. Every time.
It never fails... :sad2:

WAY more ponchos (because rain will NEVER stand in the way of a full day in the parks, EVER.),
Yeah... I mean, I don't even understand why you didn't just fill the "ditty bag" up with ponchos.

Also to be added to each bag before gifting will be a typed up list of what else needs to be packed in this bag like a change of clothing, swimsuit, iPod/charger, Kindle/charger, phone/charger (they only have one each of those electronics to share), sunscreen, water bottle, Magic Bands, etc....
That was thoughtful.

color-coded Excel schedule with all of the details they'd need to know for each day
Nothing says "Happy Birthday!" like a spreadsheet! :rolleyes1

I had to print them on white, cut them out, stick them on white Mouseheads, and then photocopy it all on the green.
Wow. That's dedication.

But I will give you one piece of news that was both disappointing and awesome at the same time:

The Trains will be under refurb the entire month of October, which meant the Behind the Steam Tour I wanted to take the kids on is kaput. That is disappointing as it was in my price range and sounded like a lot of fun.

BUT!!!!!!
Sorry the train tour was a no go, but it looks like you have some great alternatives lined up!

My DD was gracious enough to leave her laptop while she takes a midterm. YAY!! This gave me the whole afternoon to tally points and get this update up before I begin a VERY long 8 night run of shifts.
Woohoo! Quality time with a working laptop!

Afterwards, we'll all head on over to the Yeehaw Bob 9:30 show where Rosie and Gang will meet up with us. It'll be quite a party!!
That should be a lot of fun!

(ANYONE is welcome for this! and La Cava to follow)
As should La Cava. Because margaritas...

"Arrive at the Jiko Wine Room at 3 PM, tour starts at 3:30 PM - you cannot be late
Everything is included in the above price, wine, food, tour, gratuity, etc.
The Cast Member was GUSHING about this tour, she has done it and sent her daughter on her honeymoon. She said over and over again it's worth every single penny and said they don't get a discount on it! lol Sounds like you are in for a TREAT! All her chatter about it made me want to book it for myself!
This does show in your MyDisneyExperience account as Jiko - Wanyama Safari Dinner"
Well, if that doesn't get you excited about it I don't know what will.

Not bad. I'll drop off quickly, but not a bad start at all!

Liesa I am posting this on your thread as I know you have soooo many readers . One of my guys from my Group home is a bad way . I am asking for all your prayers for MY Frank, he has always been my favorite !! My heart is breaking for him !!

Oh no, Rosie!! I'm so sad to hear that!!

Prayers going up for Frank.

It's been a challenging few days for me too. I had my first Code Blue on Saturdat night- he did not make it.

Oh Liesa, I'm sure you were keenly aware of the possibilities you could be confronted with when you chose to pursue the Nursing path, but I know facing the harsh realities so soon that nothing could truly prepare you for that! Prayers for strength, and protection, as your commitment to serving others continues.
