Thanks!! But I just started the content for the next exam... :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Failure, and Cancers. OY!!! OVERLOAD!!! So. Many. Medications!
Well as a person with asthma and RA and married to someone with hypertension, a big thank you for your dedication to learning. :teacher:

Alive and kicking, my Friends. Haven't gone anywhere, but back and forth from school and to and from my Clinical site, and out to Costco once. Because for some odd reason my family still thinks they are entitled to eat while I'm in school. I don't get that. I seem to survive just fine on coffee and an occasional yogurt. But whatever. I appeased them with homemade chicken gumbo tonight and the whining stopped... until dessert time.

So, I will be scarce for another little while: Lab, then driving 1/2 hour each way to do Clinical Prep tomorrow, Clinical Thursday and Friday, and a VERY long and hard weekend studying for Tuesday's exam. So, really, I only have 3 days left (that are open) to learn 30 medications, signs, symptoms and nursing responsibilities for Hypertention, Cancer, Heart Disease and Failure and Congenital Heart Defects, along with pathophysiologies, diagnostic tests, and labs and their values for each.

Trying to make my way around your threads and keep up there... as I can. Hope you are all doing well, and staying positive and happy!

Liesa, I am amazed tha you find any any DIS time at all with all that! so don't worry about us, enjoy your limited time on the boards!

Good luck with the next exam!

I thoroughly do! It offers a nice break when I'm able to sneak a few minutes here and there.

Today I was asked to sit on a committee as a student representative for a group that is looking at revising the way applications are submitted and students selected. I am really honored and hope to represent us well. And it will look nice on my CV when I go job hunting. :)

Good morning, you are really very dedicated to your studies and to the Disboards. I hope someone will cook you a nice dinner this weekend, so you'll have enough time and energy for studying!

Haha! I wanted to post that about 7 hours ago, but then the boards went offline. The text was saved though (another new feature?) and I posted it without realising, it's not morning anymore here - but maybe over there at the U.S. it is still morningish...

Yes, it is a new feature. I think it saves automatically after some time. But you can also save or delete your draft if you want to if you use the button with the little floppy desk (kind of at the end of the row of the buttons on the top of the reply field).

Well, actually it was still morning when I first saw these, but wanted to take advantage of my morning home and get some studying done. I need to get ready to take off for school for the Committee meeting, so taking a quick DISBreak before heading out. I think that will not happen, but I do have plans for some easy foods. So that will make me be able to maximize my time this weekend and not have to spend a lot of time cooking. The kids do help quite a bit, but have to have the idea and some direction for that to happen. :)

Yes, I noticed that when I'm typing, the new system saves every minute or so; a very handy feature indeed, because my clumsy fingers OFTEN wipe out everything I"ve written, and I have to start over. I"m glad that now, at least some of my stuff will still be there when that happens!!!

You should write a users manual for all of us. ;)

Caught myself doing a little Disney Dreaming the last few days... wishing that these long days of studying would hurry and be over. When that happens I go to my saved photos in Photobucket, this time I found these beauties and wanted to share. While I spend time "just waiting" until I can make some real, solid plans, I'll post photos of past trips once in a while, and hope you enjoy!

beautiful pictures! The one with the castle spires is really unique!

I actually shared that one on FB yesterday, and it got a lot of attention, so thought I'd share it here too. You are right! It has a very unique perspective, one I have never seen. It was taken when I hiked the Swiss Family Treehouse. That's why I LOVE hitting up the "lesser-liked" attractions; you never know what new things you'll see at WDW. And that's what keeps me going back. :)

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing your dreaming ! I"m glad your term is going well in spite of the stress

Oh, the Swiss Family Treehouse, that makes sense for the perspective! I was wondering if it was taken from outside the park with a zoom lens or so...

You really have an eye for photography, I also loved the pictures from your New Years Retreat!

Looking at old pictures is really wonderful as something to cheer you up! I sometimes go back to read my old trip reports, those always bring back fond memories. But that can be very time consuming if you get sucked into reading more and more... I remember when I first started posting on your last pre trip report and I think you were already at the beginning of the second thread, I actually went back and read the whole first thread including all the wonderful banter! I sometimes miss those times, seems like people have far less time for the DIS now than then. Not sure why, but it seems that nearly everyone of my DISfriends (and myself) seems so much busier today than in 2009...

Great pictures! I love the castle one, because I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't recognize where or what castle it is right away...

Nice Disney photos! We love to just daydream too.

Julie got a nice shot from the Swiss Family Treehouse too. It is a great photo spot!

Awesome pictures from previous trips, Liesa. I especially like the AK one. :)
