I'd love to meet you. I work in the BC lobby from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM. If I'm not there, I'm on a short break ... just ask somebody to come get me.

Only 39 days until we arrive

I wanted to mail some of the necessities for our owners locker as well as a few snack items to ourselves. We are DVC members staying on points at the BCV. Do I use the address for the address for the Beach Club Resort and is that where I mail it or is it the Beach Club Villas? And... I just need to put my name, res# and arrival date on the box right?

Hi- I just wanted to say hello because I am excited for our upcoming vaca! We booked our March trip a few weeks ago and while I wanted to stay at the POLY again I am now excited to stay at the BC. Although in 2007 the BC overbooked us and we had to move to a new hotel. It all worked out in the end but I am praying it doesn't happen again. We have a standard room for a family of 5. Do I need to request a daybed or does every room come with one? I would think they can see from our ressie that there are 5 of us so I didn't mention it. Do I need to make a call?

I want to bring my lap top. How much does it cost to get internet in the room? Are there areas around the BC with free access?
If I left my lap top at home, what is the fee to use a computer in the business center.

I have made our reservation for 5 nights at the Beach Club in August i have done this through the UK Disney site. If I want to make any requests about room location etc. does anyone know how I can do this?
The Beach Club looks fantastic and we cannot wait to be there

My sister is thinking of 10 days at Saragota springs with the dining plan, I am thinking 14 days at Yacht club on the deluxe dining plan.

Haven't been to BC in a cpl years, was wondering if they provide disposable cups/lids in the rooms along with glass ones? (foam Disney cups?)

Hi! Anyone know where I can find a "map" of the layout of BC that includes "color coded" room categories and numbers? I was sure I saw one quite a while back, but have not run into it again since.

This is not a fact, but just my opinion: I think the reason the price for the deluxe rooms is inbetween the CL standard view and the CL water view is because the rooms are not on the fifth floor and therefore not as convenient to get to the lounge and CL cast members. Again, this is how I see it and it may be totally wrong. As far as the views, they are all really nice views. If you look out one of the windows, you will see the Boardwalk/lake and two of them you can see SAB. However, the patios or balconies (whether standing or full) could face a courtyard or quiet pool. None are bad views.

Keep in mind that the "garden view CL rooms" are really "standard view CL rooms". They are working to change the designation. Somehow it got changed two years ago to "garden" and nobody can figure out how. They are not garden, they are standard views. Some are views of courtyards, some are views of trees, some are views of parking lots and some are views of roofs.

If you are going for that length of time, I think a deluxe room would be great! The bathroom is the same but there is lots more "walking/living space". Keep in mind there aren't too many of them so book quickly if one is available.

Thanks for this info Teena! We're staying for 6 nights and I was thinking about upgrading to CL deluxe so that I didn't get a view of the roof. Now here's hoping there are enough.. we need 3 rooms...

can someone tell me how this works? do we leave the park with everyone else, and then go back in? Do we stay and show security our room key? Do we get a bracelet when we get our room keys?

Can't wait to get there!!!!!!!

In other words, anybody can stay in the park but they can't go on attractions without showing a resort key. Everybody in the party must show an individual resort key. If I were to join you and try to get on Soarin at 10 PM, you all could get on but even though I'm with you, I could not get on Soarin.

You make the request thru the Walt Disney (UK) Travel company. (This is who you made your reservation with). If you want to add a request I think its option 2, quote your reservation number and they will put the request on your booking. I would also ask them for the reference number that you will need to book dining. I presume you have free DDP if you are going in August. We are going in July I have just booked all our dining online thru the UK Disney site.

Can anyone explain the difference between the Lagoon view rooms and the Water/Pool View rooms? I want a view of the bay, but do not need to be on the club level. Is that possible? TIA for any help!

Hello! I just added this thread because we LOVE the Beach Club! I am so glad I found it. We stayed there last May and had an amazing time. I am planning our next trip for May of this year and we would love to go to the BC again. My question is; there is 5 of us, I tried to get a full balcony last year (requested it upon booking) but there were no rooms available when we checked in (I booked a standard Garden view room). My three children would squeeze together outside on the tiny standing room balcony we had to sit and eat their breakfast anyway (It was adorable ). I would love for them to be more comfortable this time. I know that requests are not guarenteed and many rooms do not have a full balcony at the BC. I was thinking of getting a Club level room this time in hopes of getting a full balcony (and to enjoy the CL extras). There is "Garden level CL" available and "Deluxe room CL" available. Both say floors 1-4 in the description, does that mean that odds are, no full balcony? I did read here that only a couple of the "garden view" Club levels have them. What makes the "Deluxe" a deluxe, just the water view?---maybe the balcony? Do I have the same chances with booking a standard garden view and hoping for one? I know the Yacht club has full balconies, but again, we are in love with the Beach Club. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

A standard garden view CL room is on the fifth floor (where the lounge is). It has a view of trees, courtyard, parking lot or roof. About 95% of those rooms have full balconies.

A deluxe room is on the first floor, second floor, third floor or fourth floor. There are very few of these rooms. You get key access to the fifth floor to use the club level lounge. The rooms are larger in size and have two queens and a daybed. They either have a patio (first floor), standing balcony or full balcony.

A water view club level room ... they are all on the fifth floor. About 95% of them have full balconies and you can see water (lake and/or pool) from the rooms (thus why they call it water view).
