I am debating changing our reseration at the BC. I am taking my 78 yo mother to the F & W Fest in Oct.. We hae 3 nights booked in a std room at the BC. Is there a place where I can get a drink or a quick bite to eat in the mornings? If so is it really crowded? Wondering if it would just be easier to book a CL room there or at the YC.

DOn't know exactly when your dates are, but have you seen this? http://bookwdw.reservations.disney....tionCode=fy10q1roomclub&market=fy10q1roomclub

FOr our dates in November CL came up cheaper than a regular water view room.

You can get something at the BC Marketplace. When I have my mom with me I go down and get the food and bring it back to the room. There is a little table on casters that works great. We sit by the window and talk about where we want to that day while we eat breakfast.

After sitting and reading this entire thread (hour +, DH thinks I am CRAZY) I felt I had to jump in! :goodvibes

February 2010 will be our first BCV stay! I am BEYOND excited. My kids, DH, & self love to swim, so I knew this was the place for us. After PC & WL stays it was time to upgrade again!

I have a few questions which I am sure ya'll can answer. Does anyone have any info regarding a Feb stay? ANYTHING would be GREAT (crowds, weather, beach club events...)

Thanks for any information you can provide. I have already learned so much just from reading this!

BTW-GREAT Magic with the Presidential Suite! WOW! That is Disney! pixiedust:pixiedust:

You can get a quick bite to eat at the Marketplace. There's also a nice breakfast at the sit-down restaurant at the YC (less $$$ and crowds than the one at the BC, because it's not a character meal). I honestly think that it's much easier and more convenient to grab a breakfast in the lounge if you can stay club level (assuming you can get a good deal on a room). It's just more relaxing since there's no line to pay and there are nice places to sit and relax.:)

We were at Disney last February. We hit it lucky and the weather was great - in the 80's! You just never know though. We've gone three times in January: once the weather was freezing and we were in coats, gloves and ear muffs! Once it was a heat wave, and one time the weather was just perfect - low 70's. Crowds in February are busy for Presidents Day Weekend, other than that we thought it was pretty low.

Have a great time!

July 2010 -that's when we'll be there! What are your dates -we're July 18-August 1!

Can't get here fast enough for me either!!!

Robyn I'm going to miss you again. We do not arrive until 8/7. DH & I want to stay at BWV but the teens outvoted us:rolleyes:so I'm going to try and reserve BCV at 7mo.

Sorry about asking this question again, but I'm getting conflicting info.

I have a water view room booked at YC. Do all of these rooms have daybeds, or do I have to request one?

I've read that all of the water view rooms DO have a daybeds at YC, but not at BC.

Our last stay at BC we had waterview room, it had a daybed.

TestTrack, thank you for the wonderful pictures!!!

What types of desserts do they usually have in the lounge?

Every night they have had brownies, raspberry tart, and peanut butter and chocolate mousse.

Thank you very much! Those look yummy!!! Your pictures have me even more excited about my first YC CL stay coming up in a couple of months!

Hi,

I've searched this thread and can't seem to reasonably find the BC Marketplace's hours. Does anyone know how late they are open?

We'll be arriving around 8:00 p.m. with a 2.5 year old in tow and I'm looking for a quick food option for that night - a couple sandwiches from here would fit our bill just fine but I don't know if they're still open then.

TIA!

I think the hours at the BC Market place are 7am to 11pm. When we were there in June they opened up the drink section for the refillable mugs at 6:30 am.

So close again!

Isn't it crazy to be wishing for summer 2010 already - I can't help it, I have a BC/YC addiction!

I was just saying this same thing to my DH yesterday. I don't want to wish my life away but I want the trip to be here already.

Do you know if the BC CL has the same offerings as the YC. We have only stayed at the YC and this will be our first BC visit. :cool1: I am assuming they are similar. I was describing your Deluxe room with the patio to my DH and he said that he doesn't want the patio.:sad2: So I called yesterday and made the request for the full balcony. The great CM that I spoke with said that her Deluxe CL room at the BC had a full balcony. Fingers crossed. Now just waiting for January 9th to make our ADR's. Thanks, Mary Ann:flower3:

I've skimmed over all the postings, but there are so many. :goodvibes Question, i learned that rooms were refurbished last August, were the BCV also refurbished?

sorry if this has been answered - Do all rooms at the YC have patios/decks?

thanks!

Thanks! Here's to hoping for good weather! :goodvibes

When you were there in Feb did the BC still provide all the fun pool side & beach activities listed earlier in the thred? There were various poolside activites going on in addition to the beach movies.
