Well, I can confirm it but you probably want to hear it from someone else. If you ask on the DVC forums, I think many will have noticed that it is the case. First floor rooms do have little patios rather than balconies but do have two chairs and a small table.

Actually, yours is the only confirmation I need. From reading this entire thread I can tell you are one of the experts. Just wanted to make sure I was reading correctly. Good, now I don't have to bug the DVC member I rented from to make a room request for me. Thanks

Wouldn't call it construction. It's new rugs, furniture, stuff like that. Back in the Fall, I was told it would start in March. This month one person told me May and one told me June. It will not impact guests at all since it will be removal of furniture and replacement of new. I will probably just come to work one day and go "Wow ... I have a new hangout". I'm excited about it.

It seems like just yesterday that they added the pumpkin chairs! It will be fun to see new lobby decor.

You may change your mind about the decor of the BC lobby soon. We're getting a new lobby very soon!

Ahhh - be very interested to see this! I actually miss the older lobby with the additional seating.....

Hey friends ... I'm out of here tomorrow morning on the Disney Magic for 7 nights. I'll try to catch up on questions when I return. Today was absolutely one of the most beautiful days I've ever experienced in this area. In the 70's with no humidity, bright sun ... absolutely perfect. Hopefully that weather will follow our cruise the entire week. We had a super lunch at Italy and now we're packing for the cruise.

Hey friends ... I'm out of here tomorrow morning on the Disney Magic for 7 nights. I'll try to catch up on questions when I return. Today was absolutely one of the most beautiful days I've ever experienced in this area. In the 70's with no humidity, bright sun ... absolutely perfect. Hopefully that weather will follow our cruise the entire week. We had a super lunch at Italy and now we're packing for the cruise.

Can children staying at the yacht club join in the activities at the beach club?

Also can you use snack credits for breakfast cereal? Trying to skimp on breakfast lol to save CS and table service for more exciting meals.

Our family will be heading to BC for our first time in May. I have read that the resort offers numerous activities throughout the day (arts & crafts etc...). I am wondering if there is any way to find out beforehand what the daily schedule is. Is there a link to a web site that has this info or is it only available upon check in?
Also, any way to find out in advance what movies will be playing on the beach each night and what the start times are for the campfire and the movie?

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

I believe the movies change monthly, and perhaps the activities schedule as well. If you are going later than the first week in May, perhaps you could repost and someone could let you know which movies are showing. The list of activities is pretty long as I recall.

Well we changed our plans! My in-laws have decided to join us for the first week of our July trip so we switched from the deluxe cl room to a gv cl room. As much as we love the deluxe room I know when we did our Grand Gathering the kids loved being able to run into my mom or the older kids rooms. It would be too hard being on different floors. I really like my in-laws and they've done Disney with us before so I would rather switch rooms and have them come with us.

So while I'll miss our big room and extra space I know I made the right decision.

Also since the AP rates came out and were the same as the code I had I was able to add on the DDP with the AP rate.
