We are staying at YC and using ME for first time. Does the ME first stop at YC or does it stop at other resorts. Last time we went to Disney he saw the ME and asked why don't we go on that...
How long from the airport and how many stops does it go to before YC?
Thank you.

Everytime we've used it we stopped first at CBR, then BWI, then YC, then BC. Since you don't have to stop to get your luggage we didn't find it took very long at all. Probably from the time the plane landed until we were at YC was less than an hour.

Talked to someone in the lobby the other day and they said the YC was the first stop ... guess it all depends on time of day and who is in the bus. They said they arrived early in the AM so it might have been there wasn't anybody else going to other resorts on that bus route.

Thanks, I guess it all depends that day. We are arriving Friday Dec 3rd in the morning so hoping its not busy for ME. My son is very excited b/c it will be all our first time to use ME (I'm excited to save the over $200 for not using a car service or limo...we will use that money for the Christmas party).
Thank you Teena:)

Before ME we used to always use a town car service. My kids like ME so much better. It feels like the Disney vacation has already begun once your board the "Magical Express"!

hmmm....thanks for all the ME info!
We usually do the towncar!
I dunno, that 30 minute grocery stop would be missed, but I could use one of the grocery delivery services and still save money.:thumbsup2

Hi folks! We have 2 rooms booked at the BC for the week of Thanksgiving! :cool1: We are now thinking about doing a 2 bedroom BCV instead so we'd have a kitchen and washer/dryer. There would be 5 adults and 3 children.

My question: Do the 2nd bedrooms have 2 queen beds? Some things I read say yes, while others say one queen and one sleeper sofa. :confused3 Having three beds in the villa would be a must since I know none of the adults will want to sleep on a sleeper sofa for a week.

Thanks!

We've used garden grocer many times - never a problem.

We also use Garden Grocer, top notch service.

I also got an email back from IPO about SAB hours. They said it was still operating winter hours and that it would be open 10-8.

Hi Beech Club fans. I've been reading through some of this wonderful thread for a while now trying to learn as much as I can about this awsome resort. I'm booked for a studio at BCV on 9/23-10/1. It is a suprise birthday trip for my DD11. I'm so thrilled to be planning another Disney vacation. I'll soon be making my ADR's, so I have a question. In September, about what time do they do the camp fire sing-a-long and movie on the beech? I plan on making a ressie at Cape Mays and want to be finished in plenty of time to do the camp fire and movie. Thanks so much.

I am so glad to hear that, our flight get in at 9:14 AM so we will have pretty much a full day at the parks our first day! We can be in the parks well before noon time then. Yippeeee. 7 weeks until we go, I can't wait. This is our first time staying at YC, I talked DH into it, I hope it's all I'm expecting it to be.

We are arriving late on Apr 15 to the YC--probably around 11pm. I am trying to decide if we should have GG deliver during their last delivery slot on Apr 15 or the morning of Apr 16. Does bell services ever close? Would we be able to have bell services bring up our groceries when we check in even if it is late--around 11 or 11:15pm? I also don't want to disturb our neighboring guests but I would really like to have our groceries for a late night snack or early morning breakfast for the kids.

Thanks!

Gosh, I am homesick for the YC. We stayed there in Jan. for a week and it was wonderful, I know you will have a great time.

We are going to the BC from August 27-September 5 and we are going to be celebrating our family. It is the third aniversary of the finalation of our sons adoption. He is now getting old enough to understand this and I feel itis important to make this something special for our family.

This is our third trip as a family and we had done MNSSHP and I have done gift baskets in the past. Now I am looking for new and for the entire family.

So I am wondering if the BC has something or if anyone has any good suggestions.

Thanks

What about an illuminations cruise? Or a wishes birthday cruise ( they may do those for illuminations as well, but I don't know). I have a friend with 2 adopted DDs. They do an adoption birthday every year for them just to let them know how special they are to their parents. Not a big deal just a special dinner and a little cake.:)

There are 25 2BRs with two queens in the second BR. For DVC members it is a separate bookable (is that a word?:rotfl:) category. I don't know if that's true for DRC/CRO reservations. Some have posted that the 2 BRs with 2 Queens are all booked by DVC members. I don't know if that is accurate though.

The sleeper sofas are actually comfortable...no bar. Still I know what you mean.

When we used it in Jan we went to POR first so I guess it is luck of the draw.

Funny thing was (funny now, not then) our bus driver got lost. :confused3After POR We went through EPCOT main entrance and I'm thinking maybe this guy knows a shortcut. There are some DIS-advanatages to knowing Disney property. Well we go around again back out the gate and over toward the resorts. Well he drives past resort blvd and I'm thinking whoaaa, we missed out turn.:confused3 Well he goes up to around All Star and does a U-turn at the traffic light, blocking trafficd both ways. Then we stopped at S&D, BW and YC before we got to BC. It probably didn't take but 20 extra minutes but seemed like an eternity when you are ready to arrive!

We did the birthday Illuminations Cruise last summer for ds's birthday. It was fabulous!

Thanks for the info. 25 isn't very many. I think the chances of us getting one over a holiday week would be very small. :sad2: I don't know - decisions, decisions.
