The 2009 U2 Thread - No Line On The Horizon Album & Tour

The cheap seats (nosebleeds) are $30, GA's are $55, mid-level seating $95 and whatever they consider the really good seats are $250ish. We are going with GA for LA & Vegas and if they happen to add more dates to either city we will try and pick up the cheap seats. You miss some things down in GA since you can't really see the whole set up so I always like the see it from a far at some point.

I hope things turn around for you guys soon so you can at least get to one show this leg!!

So I have all my U2 concert tickets this year except for Las Vegas. Also, I need to save up money for next year's tour.

Huge U2 fan here. Anyone else here post on @u2 and interference? I am anxiously awaiting the presale for the Tampa show and hoping they play Miami when they return back to the states for a future leg of the tour.

As I said above, I'm still really disappointed that we won't be seeing Muse in LA. I guess now I will have to try and catch them on during their own tour.

Who else are you guys seeing this year?? We have tickets to Depeche Mode at the Hollywood Bowl in August. So far that's all I've been able to get besides U2. I'd like to see Coldplay again but those tickets were hard to get and I really didn't want lawn seats. Those are rough, even at 32!!!

My friend said her Muse concert ranked up their in her TOP 5 concerts of all time for her. They are that good live!

I saw Coldplay on Halloween. Frankly, I think they charge too much for 90 minute show. They are coming again in May but tickets are just too expensive.

I'm going to see Keane in May. They are really good in concert.

Other than that, I'm focusing on U2! It's been since Dec 2006 in Hawaii since I last saw them and I can't wait to see my other U2 friends in the GA line!

Wow you guys are really making me excited to see Muse!!

DH and I will also be going to see Depeche Mode in Aug at the Garden. No offense to U2 but Depeche Mode is my all time favorite band and I have never missed a concert! U2 is a close 2nd!

DH and I would really love to see Cold Play. We did go see them play live outside on the Today Show here in NYC. We had to get up sooo early but it was so worth it! They were great. We still want to see them for a longer set! They did play about 6 songs so it was still a good thing!

I loathe Coldplay, never liked them. I can not stand Chris Martin. I can't bare to watch him sing, he's very annoying to watch in my opinion. I thought Bono's comment was hysterical.

Bono was joking! Bono does stuff with Chris Martin from time to time. But Bono would probably admit that Bono is a wanker as well.

I like Coldplay but like Keane better. Coldplay is getting better in concert but not great. But like I said, they charge a lot of a 90 minute show.

I get to see Muse four times on the U2 360 tour and I'm excited!

I'm happy that it's not Kings of Leon. I saw KOL during Vertigo and was bored to tears. With that said, I do like their new album.

Anyway, I like them a lot and skjuls is right, Bono was just kidding. That is if you're talking about the interview he did a month or so ago in London. He also called Chris Martin a brilliant melodist and claimed they were capable of great things. People took the wanker comment out of context. As for Chris Martin, I think he gets a bad rap. If you caught him on Extras, he really doesn't take himself that seriously and he's actually a pretty funny and personable guy!! Alas, I agree they do charge to much for their shows.
Anyway, it really doesn't matter that much to me. I'll always be a U2 girl but that doesn't mean I can't flirt with other bands!!!
