So, Tyson Gay just ran a 9.68 100m run. That's the fastest time ever recorded by anybody- a technical world record, if you will. Only, the wind was too strong and "helped" him too much, so it isn't counted as a WR. Meh.
Swimming is on now, Michael Phelps looks to qualify in 5 individual events and 3 relays. If he does and then claims a gold medal in 4 or more of those events (out of a possible 8), he will have more gold medals than any other individual athlete ever in olympic history.
