Hi POFQ lover! Well... it won't hurt to ask for a specific bldg #. My suggestion is to call CRO or call your TA (if you used it) and have them note it on your reservation. Resorts are not always full...so if the bldg you want is available, then your chances are good if they know it ahead of time.Kanga1 said:Hi POFQ lovers!![]()
Am getting excited about our first stay at POFQ next June, but now am obsessing over the requests I made. I requested...non-smoking, first floor, corner room...in that order. Now I'm wondering if I should add a building number to it. I know the resort is compact, so walking is not an issue, but I really don't want a parking lot view. (paying for standard view) I hear good things about building 5, but am concerned with pool noise...we're all light sleepers...do NOT want noise!
Anybody have any thoughts?
I have have stayed here 3X and my request have always been granted. I always ask for non-smoking (this is very important to me).. then I ask for the 3rd floor, so less foot traffic and I don't have to worry about any critters slithering in our room and lastly is the bldg #.
If you want bldg #5, ask to be put facing the courtyard, its quiet there. I have stayed there and it was nice and quiet on the 3rd floor and you can actually see the river from your room. I know it's only a request and not a guarantee, but it sure won't hurt to ask. Also when you check in, request it again before they give you the room number. Good luck!! You will have a fabulous time there!!
