That's the first time we had to wear a poncho in Disney! A Mar./April '11 TR DONE 9/5

5 rides before 9am..that's awesome! I've only ever done the teacups once when Jasmine was six and she spun it so much that I was a little wobbly when we were done...haven't been on since:lmao:

Great shot of what it will look like when it's completed:thumbsup2

Guess all the crowds were there the week before, you guys are having a great morning!

Glad you stopped for Peter Pan, it's my favorite Fantasyland attraction

I can't wait to see Fantasyland when it's finally complete, I think it's going to be so awesome!

Glad to hear you had a good time at BATB! I've seen that, The Lion King & Little Mermaid on Broadway. I've been wanting to see Mary Poppins but tickets are so expensive so I'm waiting for a good deal.

I forgot Splash has lap bars now. Booo.

I'm onboard for another one of you TRs! I forgot you were in WDW that week. Oh my gosh. When I was in Vegas I remember seeing tornado warnings and crazy rain for Florida. It will be interesting to see how it affected your trip. Hopefully it didn't damper your trip too much...

I don't want to give it away, but I convinced a few people that Walt Disney put a large bubble over Disney.

I'm late, I'm late!

I've been off the DIS for a little while, so I didn't get to see the start of your trip. I'm glad that you guys liked OKW when you arrived. The thing I definitely like the best is the fact that there are two beds. Nice and comfy!

Love the Teacup photos even though you didn't get the desired effect. I ould love to try it, but I know that anything I ate would reappear:lmao:
5 rides before 9am is awesome. The Raupunzel line was crazy whenever we walked by it.The morning we were 3rd in line, it was way up past the castle!

Great TR so far! :goodvibes Sounds like a really fun MK day...I love getting there first thing in the morning, and what luck you had with the crowds! I went to see Beauty & the Beast on broadway once, sooo good and such beautiful costumes, glad you had a fun time!

Lucky you to go to BATB. Sounds like fun, and how cute that some of the girls dressed up like at WDW.
Loved the sign for the new Fantasyland. It really does look like it will be beautiful, don't you think so too? Sounds like you are really working thru the morning quickly, and the weather looks so nice. Unlike our snow today! What the heck........
Did not know about the VB all day event on the 28th, I may be able to make it. I do remember going to the VB Bday event last year, but thought that was in early May?
Enjoying your TR, great job! Not sure about our next game, I usually find out last minute if we end up with tickets.

Yay, sounds like you guys got a lot done that morning in MK! I love the teacup pics! :thumbsup2

I miss the Skyway too, that's one of the things I remember about my Disney trips as a kid!

I can't wait for the new Fantasyland! Not even so much to see all the new things they are adding, but just for those construction walls to come down! I'm kind of sick of them! :rotfl:

I am glad you enjoyed Beauty and the Beast! It is one of my favorite movies and I have seen the show twice  I still need to see the Lion King and the Little Mermaid :goodvibes

Wow you two really got lucky with no crowds!!! That must have been awesome being able to walk on everything!

I love the Jungle Cruise so cheesy but I enjoy it every time!

Too bad abot Rapunzel! I am not looking forward to that wait!

Can't wait to hear what you two do next!

Gaaa, a girl goes dis-free for a few weeks, and you're 2 days into your new TR!!

I love OKW, it's so pretty! The balloons are awesome - so adorable. And the 2 beds is nice bonus too.

We were chatting with a bus driver one trip, and he said that the feeds are linked to a GPS and sent from their main dispatch. They have no control over them. Not sure if he was telling the truth or not, but I see no reason that he wouldn't have been.

Going to MK early is the best tip ever. You can get so much done! I'm so glad the crowds were low for you! Cant wait to hear more!

What a great morning! Short lines for everything except meeting Rapunzel and Flynn. Sometimes it seems funny that Rapunzel is so popular, but then, I'd kind of like to meet her myself, so maybe it makes sense. :rotfl:

An hour and a half to meet Rapunzel and Flynn?! Wow, your sister is a trooper! haha I hope to get to see them when we're there but I'd be out a boyfriend if I made Chris wait that long :rotfl:

You guys were having some major ride success! I can't wait to be there again...I need a triple mountain whammy in my life :thumbsup2

Yum, having real s'mores is so much fun! It totally beats anything you can make at your house with the stove or microwave. What a great first treat!

Oh wow, that empty turnstile pic at MK looks so inviting! I like how you just took a picture but then went back to the left side!

Hehe, is that guy bouncing along during the opening show or was the movement of the camera? HAHA, never mind. I watched the video and then read your commentary afterwards!

It sounds so different with Scoop Sanderson's voice. I've heard about him, but I've never actually heard his voice or seen him in person. Next time we go, I want to be closer to the left and make sure the conductor of the train knows I'm waving at him!

Hehe, in the video with the castle, I got really excited. It wasn't because the castle was in view, it was because I could hear your voice again! Haha, I hope that doesn't sound stalkerish, but it totally brought me back to April 2010!

Okay, so I totally wasn't going crazy. I was telling Howard that there weren't any lap bars on Splash Mountain for all these years and that it was new. He couldn't remember either way, but I know I specifically remember thinking when I was younger, "I better hold on to the bar so I don't fly out!"

OKW looks so nice!! Loved seeing all your pictures of the resort! How cool to be able to make s'mores! YUM!!

Okay..there is nothing better than a Magic Kingdom morning!:cloud9: I completely agree that it's so worth it to get there for rope drop!:thumbsup2

Great pictures on the Jungle Cruise! I actually like all the corny jokes...such a fun ride!:)

Can't wait for more.

Great update! I love the pictures of the Fantasyland Expansion posters. So excited for that! :thumbsup2 I've yet to go on the Jungle Cruise so it was nice to see some pictures. I heard they are going to take down the old Skyway stations, hopefully they'll find something new to put there though I think the Skyway would be great to have rebuilt ;)

Can't wait to here about more of your adventures!

Really?! You have to go on the Jungle Cruise...it's a Disney classic! Better do it your next trip. :)

Now I know what that little house is for in Fantasyland. I swear this is me right now = That totally makes sense how it was the Skyway landing. I would always walk by there and wonder what the heck that was used for. Oh I hope you got to meet Flynn Rider and Rapunzel! Do you think they'll be permanent meet and greet characters? Or at least be there when I go in July? I still haven't met Princess Tiana and Naveen either.

LOL, yup, it was for the skyway. I was just looking at an article in the latest Celebrations magazine and it sounds like Rapunzel will be permanent because it was talking about the new area where you'll be able to meet all the princesses. Ahh, Tiana and Naveen are awesome! Hope you get to meet Rapunzel and Tiana in July!

Nice update! I miss the sky ride too!

Thanks! Wouldn't it be nice if they could bring back some of the old attractions?

I'm enjoying your report. :thumbsup2 I agree, I think the buses have some sort of GPS system that controls the speakers and what you listen to.

Glad you are enjoying my report!

LOL yeah, sometimes after we do it I feel a little dizzy. But we usually try not to spin ourselves too much. :rotfl:

Guess all the crowds were there the week before, you guys are having a great morning!

Glad you stopped for Peter Pan, it's my favorite Fantasyland attraction

I can't wait to see Fantasyland when it's finally complete, I think it's going to be so awesome!

Yeah, the crowds were pretty light for us. :thumbsup2 Love it.

I think Peter Pan is my favorite Fantasyland ride too. So much fun.

Glad to hear you had a good time at BATB! I've seen that, The Lion King & Little Mermaid on Broadway. I've been wanting to see Mary Poppins but tickets are so expensive so I'm waiting for a good deal.

I forgot Splash has lap bars now. Booo.

The Mary Poppins show was really good. I hope you get to see it!

I don't want to give it away, but I convinced a few people that Walt Disney put a large bubble over Disney.

 Nice!

I'm late, I'm late!

Welcome...glad you found me. We're not too far in, and knowing how my TRs have been going lately it'll take me a while to finish. haha

OKW was really nice. I'd love to stay there again sometime.

Love the Teacup photos even though you didn't get the desired effect. I ould love to try it, but I know that anything I ate would reappear:lmao:

LOL!

It is crazy how long the lines can be for some of the new characters. You'll have to wait and see if we were able to meet them...popcorn::

Great TR so far! :goodvibes Sounds like a really fun MK day...I love getting there first thing in the morning, and what luck you had with the crowds! I went to see Beauty & the Beast on broadway once, sooo good and such beautiful costumes, glad you had a fun time!

Thank you! It is worth getting up early to be there for opening. I can't imagine doing it any other way.

I agree, the costumes were amazing! So was some of the choreography. :thumbsup2

Lucky you to go to BATB. Sounds like fun, and how cute that some of the girls dressed up like at WDW.

Oh, I think the new Fantasyland will be awesome. I can't wait to go and take lots of pictures. haha

I can't remember all the events from last year but I know there was the one in July or August for Vera's birthday. If you decide to go to this one maybe I'll see you there. ;)

Yay, sounds like you guys got a lot done that morning in MK! I love the teacup pics! :thumbsup2

I miss the Skyway too, that's one of the things I remember about my Disney trips as a kid!

We did get a lot done and I haven't even mentioned all of it yet!

We have some old home videos from one of our first trips and some of it is from the skyway. Good times. :goodvibes

I hear ya on the walls!

I am glad you enjoyed Beauty and the Beast! It is one of my favorite movies and I have seen the show twice  I still need to see the Lion King and the Little Mermaid :goodvibes

Can't wait to hear what you two do next!

Yeah, it was great having such short waits for everything. Not to give anything away but really the whole week the lines weren't bad anywhere (though who knows how much of that had to do with bad weather).

I agree about the Jungle Cruise. It's fun to see too if the CMs add their own jokes. Like when my parents and sister were there, they said their skipper said something about using their wand and then said "oh wait, wrong theme park" or something. haha :thumbsup2

haha, we're really only a day into it since our arrival day was pretty much just checking in. :)

We really enjoyed OKW, atleast I did. So peaceful and relaxing. We loved having those 2 big beds all to ourselves!

Thanks for the info on the bus stuff. That seems to be what most people are saying.

I just found your TR Sarah! I'm far behind now, but I love it so far! (:

Hey Sara!

What a great morning! Short lines for everything except meeting Rapunzel and Flynn. Sometimes it seems funny that Rapunzel is so popular, but then, I'd kind of like to meet her myself, so maybe it makes sense. :rotfl:

Yeah, it is funny that the longest line was for a character. Oh well.

Yeah, we were shocked to find out she waited that long! But then again I am the one who waited atleast an hour to meet Tinkerbell and the other fairies when they were new. :rolleyes1

Aww, triple mountain whammy. I want one too. :(

Yum, having real s'mores is so much fun! It totally beats anything you can make at your house with the stove or microwave. What a great first treat!

I agree, the smores was a fun surprise and definitely very yummy. :thumbsup2

haha, yeah, he was definitely bouncing to the music. Love it!

I love Scoop Sanderson...that's the second time we've had him as the greeter during the opening show. I love his voice. It just seems so Disney and so welcoming!

LOL! I hope everyone doesn't think I sound really Wisconsin-ish in those videos. :rotfl:

Yup, the lap bars are new. So you weren't going crazy. ;)

OKW looks so nice!! Loved seeing all your pictures of the resort! How cool to be able to make s'mores! YUM!!

Can't wait for more.

I've got a few more resort pictures too so stay tuned!

There really isn't...as much as I love going to the other parks that first morning, especially at the MK, is amazing. :cloud9:

Love your teacup pictures, so cute! Looks like the weather at MK was beautiful that day! I wish our first MK day had been that nice:sad2: I love Jungle Cruise, I actually went on it for the first time last year but sadly didn't get to it on my last trip. And only an hour and a half for Rapunzel & Flynn?! That's nothing compared to the 3 hours that we waited:laughing: Actually a mom in front of us in line told us that earlier in the week people were waiting 7 hours!!!:scared1:

7 hours?!?! OK, now that's a little ridiculous. That's like your whole park day!! Crazy.
