That Pirate Stole My Tiara: The Pre-Trip Report

Tortuga?

Remember, there's always the promise of a debt to be repaid.;)
:lmao: :lmao: I am just going to have to show him how lovely the Poly can be and romantic. ;) ;)
Seriously though, we have got to have meet. I can think of no better place than the Poly. Except maybe Johnny Depp's house. :hyper:

I definitely think that a meet should be planned at some point! Imagine how much fun we would all have together!

Surely he wouldn't object to that or anything. And what a great excuse to see France. :rotfl2:

Why can't that be a character dining experience??? I would be all over that -- I mean, Connor would be all over that. :rotfl:

Oh yeah...DS would love it too! ;)

:lmao:

I don't know about y'all, but I am about debted out. ;)

I'm getting there, but still enjoying myself. Shh..don't tell DH! ;)

I bet his kids are adorable.

Seriously! They need a Pirate character dining experience. Talk about a booked up ADR!
I so second this.

I totally want to do a meet. That would be awesome.

Wow. So much has happened since last I visited....

I have been so busy at work. We have a butt-load of cases against Merck and the Vioxx drug. The deadline is at the end of the month. I have to order tons of medical records, scan in about 20,000 pages of documents, upload, yada yada yada....:faint:

So much to say. Where to start????

Your parents.

That's wonderful about their dance at the wedding. My husband's parents will be celebrating their 46th anniversary in December.
This may come as a shock to you ladies, but
I'm a little older than you are. Plus, my husband is older than me...:rotfl2:

I have made a point to attempt to surround myself with people who are committed to their marriages. Marriage is more than the warm fuzzies. Like you said, it is lots of work.

What else?

I love the pink T's and the luggage. I'm ready to pack, too. Every time I go to the mall (or Target or even the grocery store) I'm on the lookout for something I MIGHT need on my trip. I already have a FEW things in the vicinity of my suitcase. My disney dollars. One of those things you put around your neck with your tickets in the pouch. Glow bracelets. Your basics.

The pictures from the chap o sap are fabulous. I can only find a handful of pictures from my previous trips. I bet I only took one roll of pictures from my first trip with Babe. Boy did that change when I got my digital camera. Now, I have a digital video camera and I can't wait to use it.

Cudos on the $99 airfare!!!!! I could use some of that DTL.

Oh, and one more thing.

I love (ser.i.ously) that you used the word y'all. That cracks me up that a MA girl uses that word. But as a true Southerner, I have to correct you. There are LOTS of people reading this. The pural is ALL Y'all.

Can't wait for more.popcorn::
Beginning July 1st I can read it again.

Thanks PrincessV for holding up the "This way to an amazing PTR" sign!

Only half way through but must comment on some stuff!

1. I drive a Honda
2. I'm from MA too. Relocated to Michigan, where I am forced to use a blinker and my R's. :furious:
3. Have an unhealthy attachment to shoes, dislike Crocs and once wiped out totally in a parking lot in WET flippies.
4. Isn't it a Meatball GRINDER?
5. I will be in the World at the same time as you.
6. Superman vs. Batman debate: Uh, Batman has cool gadgets and is smart but Superman has Super-Powers and is an alien. Not sure which is better for relationship potential but I'd go with Batman. Money, looks and brains. No contest. Um, and he has a cool cah. (smirk)
7. Also no contest on TF Green vs. Logan
8. I need to lose the same amount of weight as you do. It's great that you are so honest. I'm going to walk on my treadmill right now. You inspired me.

Mel:banana:

Thanks V for the arrows pointing in this direction.

Love your report so far!:thumbsup2

Muffinygood, can I just say how much I love your avatar. I love Opus. I still really miss the old Bloom County comics. You hardly see Opus anywhere anymore.:)

wings: Yeah, back in the day they were in every Worcester Magazine! They also featured Life In H-e-double hockey stix too! That was Matt Groening's first cartoon, I believe. One day I was sitting in a Dr's office waiting and this little old lady leaned over to me, snatched the paper from my hands and yelled, "My grandson draws that cartoon!!"

Didn't mean diddly to me then...oh well.

Thanks for the compliment!

It was an adorable coral-colored bag, small-ish hobo-type style, accented with camel leather and a big buckle. It was originally close to $300. It had a COACH outlet price.
Which had been marked down to a “red line” price.
Which was then an additional 40% off.
The bag was only $77.

You left the bag in the store?! :faint:

You CAN NEVER have too many purses as seen by my closet. :thumbsup2 I got a new Kate Spade at the outlet in Williamsburg. :rolleyes1 Red, because you can also never have too many red purses!

I, too, loves me some COACH. And a year and a half ago, I entered a COACH outlet. Where I found "It". The Bag. To End All Bags. That's right - I've become a single-bagger. "It" is so perfectly sized, shaped, colord, pocketed, handled, no other bag compares.

:faint: You only carry one purse?! And I thought I knew you, V. :rolleyes2

I'm now the proud owner of this:

That's more like it! :thumbsup2

3. the Photopass CD (I need to talk to Missy about this one. I'm totally prepared to shoulder the cost for this myself, but I want to see if she wants to split it first. I know this can wait until just before the trip to be done.)
Somewhere I saw a price break if you purchased before your trip. If I find it, I'll let you know.

$99 for a non-stop flight from Providence, RI to Orlando, leaving at 8:25 a.m. and getting in at 11:15 a.m.!!!!!!!

:hyper: :yay: :dance3: :worship: :woohoo: :cheer2: ::yes:: :jumping1:

This says it all!

I too have come on recommendation of V... I enjoyed every minute of getting up to date on the PTR! You are hilarious!

:faint: You only carry one purse?! And I thought I knew you, V. :rolleyes2
I KNOW! I actually try to switch to some of my other bags once in a while... but they never feel "right" and I always go back to The Bag the next day. What's wrong with me?! :worried:

Hi Tink! Yep, I've been pimpin' out your TR. ;) Anything new? popcorn::

I'm in for the Poly trip!! Woo Hoo!!
...
Poly 2009? ;)

Tempting...mighty tempting...

Yes, please. Where can I sign up to be part of the crew??? :hyper:

Ladies, I would LOVE to be part of a DIS meet in 2009!!! Let's hook it up!

Why can't that be a character dining experience???

I think we all need to work for Disney marketing because they are seriously lacking on the pirate character dining front.

I would be all over that -- I mean, Connor would be all over that.

Freudian slip there Jackie? LOL I'd be all over "that" too!

I can think of no better place than the Poly. Except maybe Johnny Depp's house. :hyper:

Danger Will Robinson!

Wow. So much has happened since last I visited....

THERE YOU ARE!!! We've missed you.

I have been so busy at work. We have a butt-load of cases against Merck and the Vioxx drug. The deadline is at the end of the month. I have to order tons of medical records, scan in about 20,000 pages of documents, upload, yada yada yada....:faint:

Ugh. I completely understand what that's like. Although I don't do the legal work I get to see it when it comes through on budgets and bills. What firm do you work for (if you're at liberty to say)? If you want to share, but not publicly, PM me.

Marriage is more than the warm fuzzies. Like you said, it is lots of work.

This should be a bumper sticker.

I'm trying to supress the trip shopping urge. It's not easy.

I could use some of that DTL.

:tinker: Sending some your way!

I love (ser.i.ously) that you used the word y'all. That cracks me up that a MA girl uses that word. But as a true Southerner, I have to correct you. There are LOTS of people reading this. The pural is ALL Y'all.

In another life I was totally a Southern belle. The BF tells me that I probably would've been spoiled rotten too. Jerk.
Big jerk.
Big-jerk-who's-probably-right.

Beginning July 1st I can read it again.

Good luck with everything!

Thanks PrincessV for holding up the "This way to an amazing PTR" sign!

I see V is pimping me out. Welcome.

2. I'm from MA too. Relocated to Michigan, where I am forced to use a blinker and my R's. :furious:

LOL I love that you still call it a blinker. I've heard that's a MA thing and that other people call it a directional.

4. Isn't it a Meatball GRINDER?

Oooo. Just got here and already calling me out! ;)

5. I will be in the World at the same time as you.

Nice!

I'd go with Batman. Money, looks and brains. No contest. Um, and he has a cool cah. (smirk)

'Specially if we're talking Christian Bale-Batman.

7. Also no contest on TF Green vs. Logan

Right?!

Thanks V for the arrows pointing in this direction.

Love your report so far!:thumbsup2

Hi! :wave2:
It's bound to be the newest show on the Disney channel: Pimp My Trip Report. With V as your host.

You left the bag in the store?! :faint:

I know. I know. :sad2:

Ho.Ly. CARP.

I bow to your purse greatness. :worship:

I too have come on recommendation of V... I enjoyed every minute of getting up to date on the PTR! You are hilarious!

Thanks. And welcome to the crazy house.

Hi Tink! Yep, I've been pimpin' out your TR. ;) Anything new? popcorn::

Hey chicky. Yes, I see you've been pimping me out! LOL

Nothing new just yet. The BF and I are on vaca through next Monday so I won't have a ton of DIS time. Just here and there. But I should have a new chapter up Monday or Tuesday. Promise! Please hang in there with me. Sorry for the delay!

:flower3:

Well, said outlets have this lovely lil' store called the Rocky Mountain Candy Co.

Still working on catching up. But, do you mean the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory? If so, it's one of my favorite exports of my beloved home state. *huggles RMCF and Colorado*

Back to reading. If I can avoid work.

Ladies, I would LOVE to be part of a DIS meet in 2009!!! Let's hook it up!

Yeay! Tink is onboard! :yay:

I think we all need to work for Disney marketing because they are seriously lacking on the pirate character dining front.

All those little boys need a pirate character dining experience -- seriously -- once they are past the Mickey and Pooh stage, what do they have???

Freudian slip there Jackie? LOL I'd be all over "that" too!

Maybe...(shuffles feet and grins sheepishly). ;)
